Delivery droid KP-1301 and its very special package to a snowy winter tundra bunker. This is a diorama / kitbash / miniature model build based on the model kit below.

If, on the other hand, you want to hear the official lore, grab a copy of "The Children of Aegis," my first full-length novel, which features KP extensively.

Correction. I credited Eric's Hobby Workshop with that ice technique, when in fact it was from @Geek Gaming Scenics Don't know how I made that mistake, but here's a link if you want to see that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9LJqK22aHk

Awesome build, it's nice to know that, after the blight killed off all the storks, the robots were able to adapt and fill their ecological niche.

“Why does it say the expected delivery time is 56 years?”

Late to the party, but I like to think that this is an orphan baby who doesn't seem to be affected by the blight, and researchers in the bunker are going to care for it while also studying its immune system to try and find a possible cure.

Just watched this again with my wife this time. This is what she thinks the story should be for the baby. " Due to the harsh conditions of this new world the mother and father died but the baby survived. And the only living relative, his aunt, who was part of a research team living in a bunker was to care for him." Thought it was pretty cleaver. I bet I laughed again over a dozen times during this episode. I love rewatching your stuff and laughing. Trying to support the best that I can by telling others about your channel. Keep up the good work man can't wait for the next beyond the blight video

The Droid Maker retroactively makes this build that much more heartbreaking. To think, this droid is carrying a week old baby across the continent to a bunker, never again to be seen by his father, because the alternative is life under unspeakable tyrant. I do hope there is yet some chance for Tek to see his son again, though after what you did to us with Little Flee, that might not be such a heartwarming reunion… I am very invested in the well-being of this little clay infant

Rewatching this after starting the novel. I won’t give away any spoilers but this was such a great starting point for the book! I can’t wait to see where it goes!

Loving your series so far, and the world you’ve built! Keep up the great work my man and congrats again on publishing your Beyond the Blight novel!

The UV resin for the eye lens was a really cool idea!

The reveal gave me Children Of Men vibes.

Love getting to see Beyond the Blight growing more and more alongside incredible builds! The more of it I learn, the more I want to know. Awesome stuff!

Watching this after the droid maker…
I’m sobbing. Bless you Tek. You were a good man.

I'd love to read a book based on this world. The stories are awsome.

One trick for painting yellow is to change your base color first. It can take far fewer coats overall to get a good looking yellow if you start with even a somewhat patchy beige or pink.

"I know that babies taste the best..." - Snowpiercer was a very strange film... but I really love this build and I was NOT expecting that as a reveal. Considering the Orange tree I was thinking it was the world's last Tomato or something similar. Great work!

Your videos are so unique, I mean you can take a simple concept and turn it into a full fledged awesome diorama. In my opinion you are up there with Boylei Hobby Time, Studson Studios, and North Of The Border
