So for the beginning, did you enjoy evolving? A floundering fish, to a crawling reptile, to eventually a walking mammal.

"What am I playing?" When Hideo showcased this game the first time, he used the name Ahab, used the company name Moby Dick studios, and pretended this wasn't a metal gear to get the reaction.

18:51 I've said this joke in a bunch of videos and I'll keep saying it:
- Be careful that man has been known as the greatest soldier in the world
- Comander, I understand he was good, but he's been in a coma, paralysed for NINE years. He has no backup, no equipment, no guns. How hard cold this be?
*Skullface watches his girl operative crash out of a window on fire*

Remember, you don’t HAVE to fight everyone.

FOX Engine was ahead of its time, insanely well optimized and we could have gotten good looking games with it, Konami fucked it all up

every time she asked a certain question, i was like "please dont ask that" because i know how twitch chat can be

There was so much drama with MGSV's development, from the release of David Hayter as Snake's VA to the fallout between Kojima and Konami.  MGSV's lost potential will always make it a sort of phantom pain for Metal Gear fans, but all in all I do appreciate the wonderful gameplay mechanics of this game.

The way new gameplay elements and systems continue to open up to you, as you go through this game, really makes get better and better, in a big way. If you think it’s good now, you’re just scratching the surface of how great it gets.

Jeeze I feel like I actually woke up from a 9 year coma 😅 please bear with me, this one is quite a bit different than the other mgs games, so it’s definitely taking me a bit to connect to! But I promise I’m trying my best 🥹🙏 What a crazy opener though!!! Thanks for joining me

Something amazing about this game that I rarely see commented on are the cutscenes feeling like a cameraman holding a Steadicam.  So many of the scenes feel like one continuous take in a movie except that we are watching/playing a video game.  There's even one scene later where the camera moves around an in-game obstacle in order to follow Snake.  Which isn't even necessary in a game but it adds to the feeling of watching a movie.

This game has an incredible story. Can't wait to see more!

Without going too into it . I love that the phrase “v has come to” basically sets every future game in motion from here on out

Fun Fact: 53:35
That burning horse statue is a statue of The Boss and her horse, which is a detail a lot of people don't realize

Imagine being one of the soldiers going in to take out someone that's been in a coma and all of that happens. It no wonder everyone is obsessed over Big Boss

I love this game. I remember playing it everyday. So much to do.

53:36 statue of the boss.

This was a great first part Julia, nice shooting. MGS is so fun watching you play

Ishmael and Ahab were a clue that Venom isn't really Big Boss, because in Moby Dick, Ishmael is the narrator and the only survivor.

"You keep me waiting...Huh?" But...thanks for the upload I was really waiting fo it

“ I’m not a baby”
You are totally a mgsv baby! lol.  I’ve got like 500 hrs on this game, and still haven’t perfected things.  You are going to love this! Please see it through to the end! Great reviews! 👍
