She was absolutely gorgeous. There is no other and I can see why every man fell for her.

MR. RAFT WAS IN NOCTUNE AND A DANGERIOUS PROFESSION. BOTH GEMS OF A MOVIE.

Ava was always good. She was a looker in this period of her career. Really liked her in The Snows Of Kilaminjaro. She was a wild one, that's for sure.

Thank you for presenting Whistle Stop. A chance to see George Raft excel in, yet, another 40's film noir. And, holy smokes, Ava Gardner, in one of her earliest films, showing her potential for greatness. She didn't disappoint.

Tom Conway, George Sander's brother, was a good actor, who sadly lost himself in the bottle. These three : George, Ava & Tom were quite a firesome triangle!

Great to find a George Raft movie in the film noir genre. My Uncle Ronald Paris, my Mother's younger brother, was a dead ringer for George Raft. We have family pics that prove it totally. Also love Ava Gardner as well!!! Hope this movie is as good as the players were!!
