We went curb shopping in one of the wealthiest towns around and scored a giant jackpot haul! There's nothing like trash picking a rich neighborhood on their only bulk pick up day of the year. We filled our van with high end items including a working SNOO bassinet and a vintage Ethan Allen tavern table. This type of day is the ultimate reselling pick... the curbs are lined with quality items all across town. The hardest part of trash picking these mansions is being choosey and patient enough to save room for the best items at the curb

The first time I picked up trash,I was 5 years old. I saw a metal 3 tier vegetable bin with doors. Right away I knew I wanted it for my dolls clothes and linens. I carried it 2 blocks to get it home. Yes I did rest in between as I had a huge hill to climb. Oh yes..I am 85 and love watching junk picking .

I'm 60 years old and I remember when i was 7 or 8 years old and my parents would go to rich neighborhoods and find so many nice things in their trash. lol

Im in the SF bay area. We had this in our area when i went to school back in the 70s. Then it was stopped because of all the pickers that would show up and make a giant mess of the neighborhood. The residents were the ones complaining because it disrupted their living as well as made a mess at each house. This is a pretty populated area, even back then, so you can just imagine the nightmare. You two arent out there tearing stuff up and just tossing it out of the way like they were doing here, and that neighborhood is obviously a wealthy one. Keep being respectful of peoples property like you do and you will most likely be able to keep doing this. And I wish you the best of luck in your picking!!

You know, I'm gonna leave you a comment. I want to tell you today is Mother's Day and unfortunately, I don't have any of my children here today, but they're sick. It's okay but I was so happy when I saw your video. I laughed and I laughed, y'all are so comforting to me. Y'all were just good everyday people. And I love spa spot.
