FIRST TIME reacting to The Eminem Show (FULL ALBUM) and wow… I was NOT ready for this 😳🔥

This is my first time ever listening to this classic from Eminem, and you can really see why it’s considered one of the greatest rap albums of all time. From the energy to the storytelling to the raw emotion… this album hits DIFFERENT.

Tracks like “Without Me”, “Cleanin’ Out My Closet”, and “Till I Collapse” completely caught me off guard. Eminem really went crazy on this one 💯

He did a show in the early 00s and he got "banned" (not welcomed) for a number of years due to censorship. Came back and did a set in Montreal around 2010-11 and hasn't been back since as far as I know. The goverment was giving him a hard time due to his lyrics at the time.

When MMLP dropped it was crazy. Word changing. But I remember when this album came out. I remember sitting there listening to it from start to finish snd being shocked at how amazing the whole album was. You got think. During a 4 year period, Em put out his 3 diamond selling albums, 5he 8 mile soundtrack, the 8 mile movies, launched 50 cent snd Get Rich or Die Tryin, Dr Dre 2001. Even D-12 went multi platinum. Em and aftermath ran the world during that time.

Em has performed in Canada. In 2000 the Canadian government tried to ban him from entry bc “his lyrics were abhorrent and violent snd sexist towards women”. But when the rubber hit the road, Canadian courts refused to implement the ban bc he hadn’t committed a crime. So Em performed in Ontario and has had many more since then.

For the title of the album “The Eminem Show” Em basically said something like in really different words/what I got of what he said “After the first 2 albums SSLP and MMLP my life was the MAIN spotlight, and became a movie. So think of my life as the Truman Show”
12:52 for that, all I know is a random song got banned in Canada. That ban was lifted, but the thing with Marshal is…He just 1, BARELY leave Detroit. AND 2, Eminem just dosnt tour. He turned down a tour with 50 Cent, would’ve been the largest tour on earth, 300 Million, but Em declined because “He didn’t want to leave, and Hailie was grown”

My Dad's Gone Crazy. I don't think anyone told you this, but this song came about because Em (as you can see in some videos) was taking Hailie to the studio, and one time she said, "I think my daddy's gone crazy." Em heard it and said, "What did he just say?" So he recorded it, and that's how this song came about. She added a few more words. Em told the whole story.

And yes, it was her the whole time.

(My Dads Gone Crazy) That R. Kelly line is Eminem uses that line as a metaphor the negative public reaction and controversy that follows him. He compares the "shouting" and "hate" he receives to the backlash R. Kelly faced after legal allegations began to surface during the height of his career.

Just found your channel through your Hollywood Undead album reactions.

Not sure if you are aware but Johnny 3 tears (one of the key members) has been putting out some serious solo rap tracks. Please react to Devil That You Know and Meet God. But he’s got a fair few and they’re all great.

Also worth checking out the latest From Ashes To New album - Reflections of you want some more Linkin Park esque music.
