The "other guitar"—the white one—was also a gift, this time from Paul Reed Smith. She used both guitars during the Mexico shows.

If you want to hear Pau really stretching herself then it's her cover of Creep. She was tasked to learn it from scratch in 4 hours and then to perform it to prove she'd done it. She didn't just learn to sing it she also learned the piano part and then performed it live on her out of tune piano recorded on her phone. It's breathtaking.

Also, this was in Mexico City at 7400 ft. of elevation and about 20% less oxygen.

Tim's "Wow" count is of course...23.

Paulina could easily be the lead singer of a band, luckily for us, she chooses to do both!

So, Pau has at least 4 brains. In addition to singing and playing the drums, she is in charge of launching the tracks and the metronome with two midi pedals that she has next to the regular pedals.
What is certain is that she does not have a back, she has a wall of cement and bricks.
As far as I know, she has been singing and playing the drums almost since she started playing the drums.
Also, at one time she trained by running on a treadmill while singing, to expand her lung capacity and achieve the super stability she has.
basically an elite athlete who makes music.
🤘⚡🤘⚡🤘⚡

No matter how much I'm impressed with Pau's singing on this, it's Ale's bass that gives me chills every time when it kicks in.

The next Pau song would naturally be "Revenant" from this concert.

The thing to know about our beloved Queen of the Murder Scream is the level of genius she is at.  She is our generations Mozart and is very deserving of that honor.  How she approaches her vocals is as intense as her drumming just like her visions for their songs (Pau is their principal songwriter).  Pau has this beautiful rasp in her natural voice that you can hear from time to time.  She is also REALLY good at adding the "cry" or whimper into her vocals (something that Joe Elliot does a lot in Def Leppard) really tugs at the heart strings.

One thing people need to know is that playing at singing simultaneously is very difficult.  The brain is only really capable of doing one thing really well, but multitasking can cause something to be minimized.  While you can train, it never takes away how hard this is for Pau.  Her patterns on the drums do follow her vocal lines in 23 and the other songs she takes lead on.  Impressive is an understatement.  Pau is next level.

A side note.  Sadly no one ever talks to the girls about their vocal training in interviews, and always just focus on how they got started with the instruments followed by forming the band.  That needs to change.  All three sisters have gorgeous singing voices and epic harmonies that need more light on. ⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘💛💓💙

Another "vocal coach" reactor said, "What she is doing is literally impossible. No one can sing that smoothly while playing drums." He believes they're auto-tuning her voice. What he wasn't aware of is Pau honed her singing/drumming skills by singing while walking/running on a treadmill. That's true commitment to your craft.

Lalo Plaza is their live sound engineer. He has been with them for 6 or seven years. Beto Ramos, Pau’s drum coach, is the sound editor of the video. Ivan Chávez, graduate of the University of Monterrey film school is the video editor. Additionally, their dad formerly owned a recording studio and knows sound engineering. He travels with them and oversees their stage setup.

The ability to play drums at the highest level, AND sing like a lead singer, is amazing! She’s a superstar all around! Her songwriting is incredible.

The warnings mix live (not a pro shot video) is basically as crisp as this when you're in a top tier venue like auditorio nacional. Even in the fan recordings you hear the snare cut through. Their team is top of the game when it comes to creating a studio quality sound live

Dany singing clean is gorgeous when she chooses to use to be clean. See the wordless vocalization in the cover of "You Ought to know".

I am 63 years old next month, since 1976 Nicks has been my only Rock Queen.

Not anymore.

PauPau, everything she does up there screams every second just how much she loves doing it, The Warning put Fun back into Rock.

The white Gibson Explorer was a gift from Lizzy Hale from Halestorm and the yellow Manson Oryx was a gift from Matt Bellamy from Muse. That’s how much artists around them love them ❤

What a gift that Pau is.

Really need to watch Pau sing Black Holes and Breathe (they go together).  It is the most amazing vocal performance that I've ever seen.   You're not ready for that one.

Pau's so good at conveying emotion (even while drumming) it’s impossible not to feel the pain, vulnerability, isolation and desperation in her voice. Her lyrics describe loving someone who doesn't love you back (or doesn't even know you exist) in a unique and poetic way. "Three words that I can't say out loud" ... "I guess I'll love you on my own" ... "A work of art that's not for me at all." Quite a power (Pau-er?) ballad. Looking forward to your next reaction!

Thanks, Leonard, for sponsoring this, I was hoping Tim would do this one!! I think he's been Warned!!! 🤘
