Second year in a row, with no new Made in Japan production models.
I know, many people disliked the E-II re-branding of the old Standard Series ( including myself), but common!
I mean it's the 50th Anniversary and the founder, Hisatake Shibuya also recently passed away ( RIP).
You would expect them, to come out with something special and I'm not talking their Exhibition Series, which is basically ''unobtanium'' for mere mortals.
We really didn't know how good we use to have it, back when you could get a fully spec'd, Made in Japan guitar that had ''ESP'' on the headstock & didn't cost you a frikkin' kidney.
Now it's just absurdly priced Made in Indonesia LTD's or ESP CS models, that are even more expensive and you have to get on a 2 year waiting list for.
"But but... they have ss-frets..."  GTFO!
And it's a similar situation over at Ibanez, where they haven't released a new Prestige RG, RGA or S model for the second year in the row.
Japanese guitar companies obviously want to become ''boutique'' builders, but somebody needs to explain them that ESP & Ibanez became so successful and beloved among rock/metal players, because they made guitars, that didn't cost you an arm & a leg and were superior to the older legacy brands.

Been an ESP fan for years but these prices for the LTD's are insane.

Congratulations ESP/LTD! My first was an LTD EC 400 with active EMGs it was by far the best feeling and sounding guitar in the store at the time. It inspired me to be a guitarist for life..
For those complaining abut the price, you need to pick one up, play it, I’m pretty sure you haven’t 😊

ESP LTD are fucking killing it..

picked up the Mt-1 about 2 months ago and couldn't have been happier with the purchase, would definitely recommend esp/ltd if you want a quality made instrument.

They do deliver a lot of guitar for the money 😮. Every one I've owned has been solid ever since my 1st purchase in 2002. I have a JM-II in my arsenal now and for the money it's top of the line. When I got it I gave the neck a twist and swapped the nut and it was off to the races😅. Fishman moderns, roasted maple neck, stainless  jumbo frets. Beautiful dark burst. Tics all the boxes in my opinion
