Make a rag quilt without the overwhelm! In this step-by-step tutorial, I’ll walk you through the simple construction method I use to make a 2-layer rag quilt from start to finish.
This is a great place to start if you’re new to rag quilts, but it’s also a simple, reliable method you can come back to anytime you want an easy quilt project.
Using precut 10” squares, there’s no cutting required — and because this version uses just two layers with no batting, it comes together quickly. You can make it in a day or spread it out over a weekend.
❤️ We’ll go from fabric sandwiches to fluffy seams, including how I organize my blocks with my Row Helper system so everything stays in order as I sew.
