I was a $1000 tier supporter on "The Candle" kickstarter but then Jerma marked the kickstarter as "completed" and then started a new one with the same name, he did this multiple times and I gave $1000 each time so now I'm out like $8000 and the game still hasn't been made, no concept art or anything :(

i love how he keeps saying “The Candle” every few minutes like a title card

do you guys think jerma bought some candles recently and it's the only thing he could think of for like four hours

Wait so it’s a four hour long experience with no items to equip besides a candle, but the candle only burns for one hour, and at the end you have to shoot a monster to kill it. But the monster comes out of your arm(?) and you need to shoot yourself to win? And he’s so zonked out of his mind that he’s sold on this idea? Because I think it’s flawless, honestly, no complaints.

the homemade hummus bit pissed me off so much i had to turn the video off and started crying thinking about the possibility that i actually didnt like jerma

candle burns in real time over 4 hours
1 hour experience

Not really the same but about 4 years ago there was a student game called Wick which had to be renamed Flicker of Hope. It's free on steam and where you play as a candle that gets lower and getting to a checkpoint of a group of candles on the ground you get back to full size. It has horror elements as well and is mostly about sneaking around a dark castle.

Adventurer, have you seen my candle?

Can’t believe he walked back the big brown indent so quickly. We heard what you said, Jeremiah.
