It was good.

on one hand "wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy" aged poorly, but on the other hand maybe Ke$ha knew something.. idk tbh

The "TThhEe PPaARRtTYY / Tik Tok" mashup made me laugh cause I remember people always comparing the two songs and getting into arguments over it lmao

@night1hal1 4 years ago

I was laughing through the entirety of The Party. Somewhere deep in my soul, I always knew someone would end up doing this.
Fantastic album.

this is utterly incredible. Newjack combines four of my favorite artists of all time (Daft Punk, Justice, Hideki Naganuma, and Home [don't think i didn't hear that "Pee Is Stored In The Balls" in there]) and slaps SO hard.

you can't just casually drop that Genesis remix onto me and expect to be able to survive another 40 mins of album after that

Kesha + The Party fulfills something that 16 year old / 2007 me was positive of and struggled to prove , thank you

Did anyone else notice the filtered “Harder Better Faster Stronger” in D.A.N.C.E?

Edit 1: Just found that DVNO has a sample of “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” by ABBA!

Edit 2: Steam Machine in One Minute To Midnight!?!?

Edit 3: Beverly Hills C*ck from PASWG in Newjack!?!?!?! (Holy shit these remixes are LAYERED!)

@dopeboyoccultist 4 years ago

i attempted the 'the party x tiktok' mashup so long ago but i could never get it right, it's insanely satisfied to hear finished and on tempo

Sampling tracks that sampled other tracks into it's own sample track album so future artists can sample your sample album for their new sample album. Well done unironically!

these mixes are amazing.
to name a few
Waters of Nazareth has never hit as hard
Genesis captures the tone of the album extremely well while still having that darker theme of cross.
Newjack has great incorporation of daft punk, and samples from other songs that make it just the better (the FNF bit surprised me but was welcomed)
One minute to midnight adds a nice bow on the album with finesse.

the only track i felt was starkly different was stress, though ii really appreciate how it sticks to the name of the song and goes 110% on the anxiety and paranoia.

Man, it feels like it's been a whirlwind of Pluff content in the last month and a half, and I love every second. Keep making these godlike mashups, my guy!
