Seeing people discuss their process&findings in the datamine channel is like watching a group of wizards casually dismantling some artifact of arcane knowledge.

Always remember: Nights is, in fact, also a Nightmaren.

They are a FRIENDLY Nightmaren.

But they are, in fact, a Nightmaren.

It’s wild watching this all happen in the NiGHTS into Dreams discord in real time, and actually too much to process so I’m glad this video series exists so that I can understand how mind-blowing these discoveries are.

It goes to show how devoted the community is that, in the absence of a new game, everyone is willing to put in so much work to plumb the depths of the original. Waste not, want not!

I think the unused grinning faces of NiGHTS might have been for an unused idle animation where she would start making faces at the player if you leave her hovering for a bit like how Sonic will tap his foot

THEORY TIME

What if Elliot and Clarice both had their own version of Selph? The more Jester-like emblem would correspond to Elliot, but the unknown emblem seems vaguely feminine with the curling parts.

Everytimes Digi talks about Nights I get blissful.

I'd been thinking of making a NiGHTS into Dreams iceberg for fun, but with how much we're learning recently, it would feel incomplete in no time.

12:27 The emblem on the door looks like a Nightopian, the teardrop head, body and the wings. I wonder if there was originally plans to make an area for Nightopians but due to limitations at the time it was scrapped. The team went on to make the Chao island in Sonic adventure 2 which is pretty similar to the concept, Nights JOD lends to that theory because there's a door that takes the player to the Nightopian garden, similar to the Chao's so it all went full circle.

The Crewle into Gillwing theory could also tie further into the earlier mentioned "Nightmaren laying eggs" scrapped idea, which would get into even further Pokémon territory.... Before pokemon itself introduces the concept of eggs and breeding into its games. Wild

Not gonna lie, you had me with the first half of Selph. Legit thought it was a real person with controversy.

You know, you could also make a Pokémon evolution line with Clawz:
1º Stage: The cats that Bomamba uses in her battles
2º Stage: That early design of Clawz where he was a round red cat
3º Stage: Clawz

Holy heck this has gotten insane. I cant wait for what comes next in this datamine

The sharp teeth are a cute touch, given Nights is still a Nightmaren and would retain some monstrous traits like the others.

Honestly the entire Blue Door segment made me think "This is the only fandom that can focus on parts of a door while datamining this hard and still have me captivated"

Every time new info about NiD data mining comes out it's like a sweet mix in holy night.

With every new addition to this data mining series DiGi slowly descends into madness.

I was hoping you'd say something like "there's no way we're going to find Selph" so that in two weeks you'd be forced to post a video talking about how you found Selph.

Thanks for the updates again. It's super exciting to see how this is all coming together.
