Thanks for having me!

You guys could add the Quad display somewhere in the vid screen (maybe bottom right)

wish we could’ve seen what was happening in real time on the quad tho

Thanks for having us! 🫶

This video would have been 1000x better if we could have seen the screen of the qc while they were doing all of this.

Cool video, but not showing the Quad Cortex is certainly a strange choice

seeing garza be an impatient caveman when it comes to tone makes me feel so validated :')

Felt like I was hangin with the boys loved this more garza pls

Guys, camera on the quad is like the bare minimum for this type of video. Are you guys looking for a video director?

So glad I got mine!!!
I love it!!!

Both these guys are awesome. 🤘

Quad Cortex show a new perpective of all guitar sound today!

Brutal tones, thank you!

I've had my axe fx 2 XL for about 8 months and all I can tell anyone who either wants a modeler or maybe just got one and is stuck with how to use it, just keep turning dials and getting a feel for what changes what. The more time you spend dialing in your sound the more familiar you will become with the modeler, the sky is literally the limit with them. If you happen to get the axe fx here is some advice from a dude who used amps for 20 years:
1). You can get as crazy with it or as simple with it as you want. You can go from 1 singular amp and 1 cab with mild 60's or 80's fuzz and a touch of slap back delay and call it a day. Or, you can throw in a tube screamer with 2 amp heads blended together along with 2 cabs and a whole freakin' microphone cab setup and all of the bells and whistles you could imagine graphic eq reverb and delay, anything you could imagine can be throw together. The system really rewards those who spend the time on it.
2). The system has 500 presets built into in from the get-go so you can also just spend time flipping through presets and if you find one you like feel free to change absolutely anything you want and make it your own :) Again, the system rewards creativity and changing things around.
3). It's not uncommon for me to have fun for hours just creating whole new sound scapes and seeing how crazy I can make things.
4). Your favorite players might have presets made that you can purchase from them. I managed to find a Synyster gates tone pack totally for free and it sounds spot on I was very surprised how good it was for being free.

Spend some time with it and see what you can create.

PS: One of the most useful tips/tricks I was taught was when you're adjusting your tone knobs throw a looper block in your chain and play some bullshit riff for it so you can let it keep looping over and over rather than you having to keep strumming the part just to make a noise so you can adjust dials. This trick was a god send for me.
