How to make a lined slit: In this video, I teach you the pattern making and sewing step-by-step, from beginning to end.

A lined slit is a beautiful and widely used finish in tailored pieces, such as skirts, blazers, and suits, but it's also one of the points that generates the most questions in sewing. Here, I show the method I use, explaining each step so that the assembly works and the finish is clean inside and out.

In the example, I use a straight skirt with a back slit, but the process is the same for other pieces.

⚠️ This is a more detailed video, so I recommend watching it carefully and, when sewing, respecting all the indicated seam allowances, because this makes all the difference in the final result.
