From bright murals and bustling markets to incredible Indian food and street snacks, there is so much to experience here.

After Little India, we head to Kampong Glam, Singapore’s historic Muslim quarter. We explore the beautiful Sultan Mosque, stroll through lively streets filled with shops and cafes, and try some delicious snacks along the way.

Singapore is one of the most diverse cities in the world, and today we’re discovering the cultures, food, and neighborhoods that make this city so special.

Thanks for exploring the lesser-exposed side of Singapura. The Malays are indigenous to Singapore, and are the natives of the land, so I find it a travesty that often their rich cultures and dare I say even richer food variety gets completely overlooked by people who go to Singapore only to cover just Chinatown. Not that anything's wrong with Chinatown per se, but it definitely isn't representative of Singapore and its native people. Shoutout for highlighting Indian cultural aspects as well, they too have a rich culture as well as cuisine!

There was a riot at little India in 2014 causing alcohol sales n drinking to b shut from 1030pm-7am. Only licensed pubs/bars are allowed the whole night... Hoped u enjoyed ur visit

Little India is essentially Indian Tamil culture at its core, with a limited Punjabi and Sri Lanka cultural traits. Kg Glam is essentially Arabic Yemeni culture.

Hi guys, Singaporean here. That Indian restaurant at $70+ is very expensive😨Wish you guys had gone to the Tekka Centre hawker market instead.

Little India is comparatively less touristy and more authentic than Kg Glam and China town. The reason is that people actually lives there and the shops serve a large Tamil Indian community here, both local as well as foreign workers. You will find Little India a bit "messy, dirty and disorderly" compared with Kg Glam (Arab St and Haji lane) and Chinatown because it is what it is, for locals. It doesn't rely on tourists alone to survive.

Hellloooo. Singaporean here! Welcome to Singapore! ; )D" Tourist often get a misconceptions thinking jaywalking and chewing gum are illegal and yall be fined for everything LOL. We jaywalk all the time lah! There are no policemen hiding around the corner. You rarely see one hhahahlol. If its a quiet road with no cars, or traffic is light or no car in sight, you clearly see thats safe to cross when ever and where ever you need to - no need to wait for a traffic light every single time. But if the road is busy, with lotsa people and cars, please use the traffic light. Your own safety comes first! (> . <) . And yes, chewing gum is legal for personal consumption! LOL Btw, your videos are interesting! You and your wifey are both interesting and cheerful to watch <3. Cheers, enjoy Singapore! =P''

Chris , I'm Singaporean ,the food there are very expensive, because is a tourist attraction site ,you should explore the hawker center foods ,
The rental over there is very very expensive,so the food sold there is super expensive , they want to cover the rental.🤔🤔🤔
