I love the entry story line.  Imagining a messenger from the throne of TMH coming down to enlightened you in a way that no mortal can.  You scoff, rebuff, and dismiss them.  Later on you remember why they showed up as your entire life unravels just the way they said it would.  This would certainly have a mental impact on you for the rest of your entire existence.
