Replacing the CV Gaitor (Wheel end) on a 2012 Fiat 500 - I damaged the gaitor whilst fixing new shocks so had to replace. There is no damage to cv joint although this would be a simple replacement as you have to remove the cv joint to fit the boot.

Don't know what Fiat you have mate but I couldn't tap off my CV with a bit of titanium let alone hard wood. Pullers etc not a chance. Specialist said it has to be cut off - once I removed my whole axle and took it to him

Hi, thanks for sharing this. I am attempting the NS and am struggling to separate the velocity joint from the hub, then the velocity joint from the driveshaft. Do you just hit the back of the hub, whilst holding driveshaft?
