Thank you for your videos. If not for your videos, I would be confused where to relocate. I just sold my home in Roseburg, Oregon and relocating to Astoria next month. Keep making your videos and ignore the haters.😂

been in coos bay for 25 years now,one of the best towns i have lived in

Another helpful video; thanks!
Still hoping to see one in which you both talk/discuss things!

Let's Go Seaside!

Great video, home prices need to come back down for most people to be interested in buying. Old outdated homes for big prices.

Great video awesome content

11:35, Coos Bay/North Bend.

14:05, Florence.

Cannon Beach #1 🎉

Seriously which town has the least homeless for me that is a big problem

5:07, Brother, its more like a 7 1/2 hour drive. I've timed it!

Would be nice to know about jobs in the towns also.

We are 25 year residents of the Oregon coast.  This is the best and most informative video.  Florence is the sweet spot with its’ proximity to Eugene.

Trying to figure out what’s best for me here. It’s hard

I agree that Seaside should be last. It’s kitschy. If you’re 12 years old and love carousels and video games it’s great I guess. Otherwise 😏 And no cliffs etc which is what makes the coast so beautiful in my opinion.

We bought five acres of beautiful land to build a house on in Brookings... but then my husband got pancreatic cancer. Healthcare here sucks. He died in the hospital at Gold Beach but really needed quicker access to Portland or Medford. I worked remotely out of Portland. It's a paradise for sure, but it helps a lot of you're rich, young and healthy. If you know how to build houses, they need you. People wait several years to book someone to build new and it's not cheap. A lot of people try to live here, but move on because they can't make it happen. Not a lot of jobs. You drive to Crescent City, CA for Home Depot, but there isn't much happening there either. The beach, fishing, sunsets, and the Redwood Forest are big draws. However, forest fires surround here so it's not perfectly safe or easy to breathe sometimes. Not much for nightlife, entertainment, or touristy things. And from Astoria to Brookings you can get gale force 80 MPH winds and 100" of rain... so it can get a little crazy sometimes. I sold our land and moved away, but I will always love to visit here. Prettiest place I ever lived.

What are the cons to Seaside? What are the grittier elements? You kinda threw away that comment without much context or clarification.

We want to bring in a new home ,is there property close to the ocean ?

Nothing like selling out our beautiful rural coast for profit.

No no brookings is so over priced.  I lived there and left, to many broken souls.  Over run with addicts!
