Mar Mari Emmanuel reveals why we continue doing the things that pull us away from Jesus, even when we know they are wrong. Through the teachings of Scripture, this sermon challenges us to examine what still has a hold on our hearts, whether it is temptation, worldly desires, unhealthy habits, or the desire to live life on our own terms. When we choose the world over God, we can become trapped in the same patterns that keep us from experiencing true freedom and holiness. Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, turn away from sin, and surrender our lives completely to Him.
