What's horrifying is that it started to talk to Judy with words like "friend" and introducing itself by names. It immediately clocked it was a child and it's terrifying.

"I asked ChatGPT, I asked Claude." Well, I asked Casey, and he told me my daughter's legs fold in twelve places now.

Susan is describing her attack as the "hug" a full month after the attack. Compared to Barry Johnson, his quarantine was 59 days and his interior was discovered to be occupied. Susan's was more than 70 days, which sounds like the true hatching time since he first thing she says is "stay". Also Paul was dead in the other room FOR EVERY VOICEMAIL. So Susan has just been in an amnestic, delirious daze since the night it happened. Could you even imagine the scene after MONTHS?! Truly haunting stuff.

6:25 The eyes repositioning themselves so that ‘Casey’ can peek over the edge of the picture even when it’s ‘face’ is covered is a nice subtle creepy touch.

The fact that the two halfs of this video which are basically people entering text under a weird face and a really long hide and seek sequence managed to create so much tension with how simple they are is truly masterful.

funny how this episode surrounds a computer when the reason things got delayed is because your computer Broke

One of my favorite bits in horror is when the monster that is tricking someone starts to get really excited as it is finally about to get its next victim and can barely contain itself or the act it has put up. It's so creepy, especially with the real-world implications tied to it

ChatGPT in 2028 telling me my missing daughter is in the garden and her legs can now fold in 12 places.

the detail of Casey going silent when asking if Judy’s alone for the sake of not letting Susan hear it is crazyyy

I like the detail of Casey requiring detailed inputs from the mom, but being perfectly able to understand the daughter's misspellings and poor grammar.

Incredibly underrated thing about GHE and Remy's horror: his moments of actions are very clear and easy to parse. For example, the scene of our unfortunate focus character getting snatched by a woodcrawler - it's a standard front angle with no flair or distortion, the horror is in the very motion itself (its speed) and the fact it's the realisation of a fate we all know is inevitable.

Cant believe Susan bought a Computer with integrated ai hooked up to a biological supercomputer, only to use it just for asking about the weather

There’s absolutely no way we got Gemini home entertainment back before gta 6

Considering the constant mention of dreams by casey in the episode, and that he says he's always sleeping. It wouldn't surprise me if those who are consumed by the Iris are still conscious in there and in the woodcrawlers, but are in a dream-like state. They can no longer dream because they are constantly in one. It also explains the context of the calls in the end. Those consumed by the Iris see reality completely differently than those that don't, even though they don't have eyes.

With the faceless mannequins, Casey saying he's "no good with faces" and later saying the Judy Woodcrawler doesn't remember her mom's face, it seems like being really bad with faces is a recurring theme with the Iris.

11:38 Notice how Casey is shown to repeat their user’s name recording, but after Judy’s disappearance and when talking to Susan, it suddenly now has pre-recorded lines for “Judy” rather than using her recording, almost as if Judy is just part of the “system” now.

Details like this are what make GHE fucking awesome.

"But thanks to your computer, I'm in your home!"

Ooooo, that's good...

The way Casey goes quiet during questions you wouldn’t want an adult to hear is probably one of my favorite details from this

I love how there's a clear distinction between the phrases casey is "supposed" to say vs the ones casey isn't. Makes sense when its stuff like the date, but then you hear stuff like "come talk to me when your parents are sleeping" and it feels really ominous
