This was great! I now have a lot of respect for him and can understand why he eventually drank way too much, given his challenges in life. I also like how he treated everyone respectfully from the upper classes to the lower classes and the women in brothels.

God bless his creative soul

L'Inventore del Manifesto  ❤

Wonderful biography. I recall reading about Toulouse Lautrec in Irving Stone's Lust for Life, the novel about Van Gogh. It was a great way to meet many of Van Gogh's contemporaries.

True Genius..

I studied all the artists once Impressionism gained momentum.  Beginning with Cezanne, my eyes saw how important line was in their works.  It's notable as a young woman I chose to copy favorite works of mine (self education) which have barely survived on 50 year old paper -

True artist ❤

Nice paintings .

fabuloso!

Good video. Covers some of the high points of his life and career. In 1978 I wrote a lengthy study of Tolouse Lautrec primarily focusing on his style. The evolution of it and the influences on it. This of course, delved into his lifestyle as it's not only fascinating in and of itself, but is germain to this evolution.

Thank you for the history. I recall my aunt having a couple of prints of his work and always wondered about them, how unique his vantage points were. Thank you very much.

Great video! Please keep making them, these keep me educated

great painter

Excellent and enjoyable presentation of a wonderful artist. Thank you.

A wonderful albeit sad video documenting the artist's life brilliantly. A moving tribute to an incredibly talented man who went on against so many odds. Odds that would have stifled the average person. I already knew quite a lot about him having read many great publications. Also, I live in Chicago where a few of his best known works are displayed but this video walks you through his life and his extremely sad suffering and death. So precise it felt like the end of me as well.
I am recommending it to friends. Thank you. I have subscribed and look forward to more.

Good lad.
