ugh i remember being 7 when this song came out and i was obsessed with it

I remember being a child and not liking this song bc I didn’t rlly understand the lyrics. Now I’m obsessed with it and I love this song with my soul

this song makes me wanna live 4ever

3:19 is the best part 👩‍❤️‍👨

this is the greatest slowed and reverbed song of all time, i cant believe other people like this song

3:13 this part :''))

I will always remember singing this song with my mom in the car when I was 9 years old…I thought she was the best singer in the world, she still is  deep down in my heart.

3:08-3:37 makes me imagine dancing in the rain with a significant other, or just makes me cry lmao

I remembered this back in 2007

3:18 that line just gives me butterflies

imagine listening to this song while crying, oh the irony

Hey, I want to remind you that God loves us. His miracles are real. Just trust Him and always pray. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, lack of finances, or anything that makes you doubt yourself, just remember that we have God and he will provide for our needs. Nothing is impossible for God; just keep your faith in Him and don't stop praying

and im gonna miss you, like a child misses that blanket. never thought that was such a great lyrics

I can't believe how much i understood & loved this song even at 11. Things hurt then & now, the song hits different but not that differently. Forever  in love with this song.

Da da da da
The smell of your skin lingers on me now
You're probably on your flight back to your home town
I need some shelter of my own protection, baby
To be with myself and center
Clarity, peace, serenity
I hope you know, I hope you know
That this has nothing to do with you
It's personal, myself and I
We've got some straightenin' out to do
And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket
But I've got to get a move on with my life
It's time to be a big girl now
And big girls don't cry
Don't cry
Don't cry
Don't cry
The path that I'm walking
I must go alone
I must take the baby steps till I'm full grown, full grown
Fairy tales don't always have a happy ending, do they?
And I foresee the dark ahead if I stay
I hope you know, I hope you know
That this has nothing to do with you
It's personal, myself and I
We've got some straightenin' out to do
And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket
But I've got to get a move on with my life
It's time to be a big girl now
And big girls don't cry
Like the little school mate in the school yard
We'll play jacks and Uno cards
I'll be your best friend, and you'll be mine
Valentine
Yes, you can hold my hand if you want to
'Cause I want to hold yours too
We'll be playmates and lovers, and share our secret worlds
But it's time for me to go home
It's getting late and dark outside
I need to be with myself and center
Clarity, peace, serenity
I hope you know, I hope you know
That this has nothing to do with you
It's personal, myself and I
We've got some straightenin' out to do
And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket
But I've got to get a move on with my life
It's time to be a big girl now
And big girls don't cry
Don't cry
Don't cry
Don't cry
La da da da da da

Nostalgia 😢

2:56 why does no one talk about this perfect transition

I remember traveling to the USA  and this would play in the radio all the time, I was obsessed!!

The moment when you realize you have to let go, fully let go.

Honestly the lyrics are sad but it also teaches you let go
