The long lost mysterious Sonic Statue in the Japanese Mountains... Has been restored!

I'm in shock! I didn't think this day would come but here it is, the statue has been completely repainted and his structural damage has
been repaired!

A huge thank you to whoever is responsible for this!

The only thing that could be better than this, is if on the next sonic game; sonic himself does a similar pose to this with a snowboard as a nice nod to the fans, "Badnik Mechanic" and everyone who worked hard to see this restored!

The sonic statue vids got me into your channel, I'm glad this story was given a happy conclusion.

A request: In the next Sonic Livestream... It would be nice just to flood the comments with "We Saved Him!"

Edit: This has now been verified and confirmed! It's real! We did it!

The story of this statue has been absaloutly amazing! From the community finding out about it to locating it then sega talking about it and eventually to it being RESTORED! This journey has been amazing and just goes to show how powerful this community is. But, pretty much none of this would've been possible without you Dave. Thank you for shining a light on this topic. And like I said on Twitter he certainly has a badnik mechanic to thank.

Now, let's find some more statues! Can't wait for you to be back Dave! Keep going and take your time. We're all behind you👍
