Good video. I went through a ton of lav mics to find the best all around one. The twinplex is really good but for the money the Sanken cos11d is the best one money can buy. It sounds the best on all voices and is super clear even underneath a tshirt. The Sanken does cost $400 bucks. But i have bought 3 already and have zero regrets. Be happy with your purchase because that twinplex is a lav mic they use on professional films.

I like the low in on shure. But I like the Senn better

Shure is too muddy and heavy low tunes for no good reason, The Sennheiser is perfectly amazing catching the deep resonance of your voice and so articulate feels so energetic and beautifully healthy to hear

Sure is the best but the Sennheiser is great for the price

I'm glad you made a video because I was considering the Shure but it is very expensive.  The Shure has different caps depending on whether you wear it over or under the shirt. The presence cap boosts the highs so it doesn't sound muffled under the shirt. Surprisingly I didn't hear a big difference. For pros there are other factors like quality of build, size, mounting accessories, cable flexibility, and matching it to a boom mic so they can cut between the two and sound similar.  So if you're wearing out side the shirt, on the collar... its not going to shine. On the bright side Shure mics are in high demand and hold their value. You could sell it and make most of your money back.

The Deity DA35 doesn’t have the best reputation. There’s a Tentacle Sync Microdot adapter for only $10 more that you might want to look into.

P.S.: It wouldn’t surprise me if the Zoom recorders are only providing about half the Shure lav’s specified operating voltage. Many of the higher-end lavs need higher voltage than consumer-grade recorders and transmitters can provide.
