At this month's Mission Prep, Chantry (IG Handle: @Restored_Warrior_) shares a message on faith over fear — built around his 14 years as a U.S. Army paratrooper and jump master. Using the static line and anchor line cable as a metaphor for staying "hooked up" to the Savior, he walks through his own journey: a decade inactive in the Church while deployed overseas, his mother's cancer diagnosis, disfellowshipment and repentance, meeting his wife Mary, and the sudden loss of his brother Chandler — who founded this very mission prep class — in a car accident. It's a raw, personal testimony on why preparing to serve matters, and why you don't have to be fearless, just hooked up to Jesus Christ.

Thank you for you teaching.
I'm sending this to my son who has turned his part of his mission papers in and now waiting to have his interviews this week.
Yet, clearly ... your experience of God calling you out of the Wilderness (like Hebrews ch 3&4) transcends our differences
