How many of the Espers do you think we could've gotten by the end? Imagine fighting Zodiark like this! 🤣
(NOTES: Background audio volume has been fixed in future challenge runs - thank you for the feedback! Also, Trial Mode was BANNED for this run!)

I like imagining how the story would have played out if Vaan was a beserk madman who bonked anyone who tried to team up with him and ran off into the next part of the story by himself

@adityanoviant8180 3 years ago

finally vann get his deserved role as main character on his own game :)

@BurritoOfDoom 3 years ago

The amount of time it takes to record, go through the footage, edit, put a voice over on top, script it out and more is mind boggling. Easiest sub of my life

@derpina_a 3 years ago

This is the most polished brand new channel I’ve ever seen.

18:00 One of the Techniques was actually NERFED in the Zodiac versions. In the original, Stamp let you copy positive statuses onto your allies, but they removed that feature for some reason.

They did buff Wither and Addle, though, since they can now affect any enemy in the game. Wither in particular turns Yiazmat and Omega into jokes.

The thing I love about Vaan over all the FF MCs is literally how painfully stupidly normal he is. He accidentally fell into a plot to take down an evil empire. He was just living his life. It’s such compelling writing from my viewpoint. I get that he seems like such a tagalong, but he’s probably the most genuine character they’ve ever had.

@SailorYen89 1 year ago

Appreciate what you said about Vaan. It's a common misconception that he's the main character, he isn't, he's meant to be YOU. He's your eyes into the world and story, someone that gets swept up in it and doesn't know what's going on. The story isn't about him we just experience it through him. It gets him a bad wrap as a boring main character but I don't think those people get what his role is at all.

@BlueHarvey 3 years ago

As one of the people who got contacted by him, we have no known way to get past him without paying him money. Situations like these are way we make exceptions in certain challenge runs. This is one of those exceptions since you cannot get past them without.

37:28 😂 definitely the ff12 I remember. Gods the crystal mimic after the mandragoras had me so triggered.

@mattiag1846 2 months ago

1:56 add if you have a few extra neurons you will know that you can change to x2 and x4 whenever you want quickly without having to go into the settings

@Maurorius 3 years ago

Another funny thing about the Hashmal fight: His element is earth, and if you cast float or equip winged boots, you will be immune to his strongest attacks (and you can avoid traps) :)

@CutiefoxASMR 1 year ago

42:35

Record Scratch.

Vaan: Yup. That's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation. Well, it all started one brilliant afternoon...

@Dr.Moogle 3 months ago

To defend the game. If you played FFT a lot of this stuff makes sense. The manufactured stone is just a Temu Zodiac Brave Stone.

Also since you can equip the stone. It also serves a practical purpose. That shows off what exactly it does and how. Expanding on that could be dangerous from a story perspective.

Now he is the leading man

@chesster423 3 years ago

ff12 is such a beautiful game

@benandrew21 3 years ago

I've binged all your videos at least twice, your stuff is so high quality and you are so entertaining. Keep doing what you're doing bro!

@FearTheDeep 3 years ago

A challenge run of an RPG always feels like a whole new level of challenge. I mean the patience you have to have to complete something like this that probably takes insane preparations and patience to get through.
Now to watch, you got a sub.

@jaydeebow6431 3 years ago

for any who hasnt experienced this underrated gem please give it a go

@xxBubblegum 3 years ago

this game was a diamond in the rough. i enjoyed all the ff's, but this one and tactics i played the most.
