You know what's cool about hobbies?  Not every hobby has to be yours. Plenty of people collect things that aren't real. This brings comfort and joy to many, and I'd have one if I could afford it. This isn't hurting anyone.

Shes an artist. The dolls are works of art. People finding them strange and uncanny is a testament to her skill.

Jess’s dad is spot on. If Jess enjoys making them (I make them also), dressing them, etc., why should anyone have a problem with it? It’s an art form like any other. Ignore the negativity, Jess. You have an audience who loves you!

Really, why are there so many judgmental comments. It’s a hobby or a therapy baby for individuals who have anxiety and depression.  🇦🇺❤️🌷

Please PLEASE let that be a documentation where us reborn people are not portrayed like in most of the other films about the hobby - like we are crazy or all fight mental issues! Most of us, like me, just collect them for fun. The hobby is very diverse. It connected me with other doll lovers who I now count as my closest friends. You can collect them because you admire the art, take pictures, explore clothing styles, etc..etc. I have so many hopes for this video, so please let it be authentic and not just cover over and over again the mental or child loss aspect. Which can be of course the reason why people have them, but please keep in mind that there are also other reasons, like just collecting them as a hobby and for pure fun!

Jess's work is absolute art. The processes and materials are expensive and time consuming. People collect her dolls for her art. They're pricey, and may take months to pay for and more months for Jess to complete them. You should show the ones that have moving parts.

Jess, You are creating joy, healing in a way.
Please keep creating.

I agree with your aunt. A reborn cant ever replace a child.
But it milded my pain.

Thanks Jess, that was all done beautifully,  I enjoyed the mixed but understanding attitudes of your family too. Xxx

I am glad to see this video I am a reborn mummy and i take my reborn out in public this video says it all thank you for making it😊😊

i’m getting my first reborn doll today and i’m so excited i can’t wait to meet him!!! i’ve wanted one for years… i love him so much already i can’t imagine how it’s gonna feel to actually hold my baby doll in my arms. it’s just so soothing to me. so soothing.

Ever since I was a child, I watched videos from people in the Reborn doll community. I collect Baby Alive branded dolls because it is one of my autistic special interests! :) I think reborn dolls are beautiful and, I follow RebornofJess on social media! :) Nice to see good representation of that community! ❤

Reborn dolls are very effective as therapy dolls and help so many people. The benefits are there, also how amazing is the art of making something so realistic! I’ve seen wonders done mentally for those who have lost children/ dementia patients and if it helps people heal in a non violent way I’m all for it! If it’s not hurting anyone then I’m in full support

I've run into this on tiktok and I realize it's therapy for some people.  I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it.  But then I collect antique and haunted dolls, and have some super creepy looking ones so there's that.

Don’t ever stop making these babies Jess. They’re are brilliant art works and should be seen as just that. I’d love one of your babies. Maybe, one day,I will have one. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love creating reborn dolls. It’s my favorite hobby.

Bebés dormidos , que es lo que más hace un bebé recién nacido . Me encantan .

Such beautiful works of art.  I have a friend who lost a child several years ago, and she owns a few of these beauties which give her such comfort. I bet some people in nursing homes would truly benefit from snuggling one of these realistic babies.

But like, let people have reborns instead of real babies. Some cannot care for real babies. And these fill a void. Everyone can just mind their own❤

I want one so bad but too expensive I love watching reborn channels utube
