Someone who is concerned about the environment would never start a fire! Especially near woods!!!

I don't think a big environmentalist would set something on fire so close to the forest

Cho was the perfect straight faced comedian 🤣 I love Patrick Jane, the absurdities of the mentalist and his psychic ability, the dialog, the facial expressions made this show super fun to watch

My favorite show is Psych because it shows ever clue that he sees, that allows him to make predictions...

4:12, nothing was found in the box, but because someone took it to hide evidence.

The "contrast" here is that arson can't be good for the environment. And an environmentalist who's passionate about his activism won't do that.

1:57 there is a third reason : very shinny sun

Your analysis of this show has taught me more about mentalism than any other free-of-charge source. Brilliant teaching method!

there is funny scene in russian film about Sherlock Holmes
Holmes tells Watson veeeeery detail information about some random man on the street. Then Watson in complete shock asks how is this possible. On that Holmes tells that it was elementary because that man was his brother Mycroft. And laughs. Pretty much about some incredible "insights" of clever tricksters.

I think everyone can agree that spidey has the best t-shirts of all time :)

Why would Jasper, an environmentalist set fire right next to this forest?
I think that's the answer....

Holy sticker potential

The jewelry box scene, there's something inside the secret compartment, however, they weren't able to recover it due to the janitor who is a spy.

Contrast; he is a nature conservationalist and he lit a building on fire which could cause Forrest fires which goes against his whole goal

People who like this show should give these a shot also; Monk, Lie to Me, The Dead Zone, Psych, and Mental (Dr show).

Also if you want more of Simon Baker (Patrick Jane) there's another show called The Guardian where he plays a troubled lawyer. Brilliant show. Also a film called The Lodger, it's a psychological thriller.

Your best Mentalist Video yet.  Pointing out the illusion of "mentalism". Reading people along with trickery.  Love your stuff!

Arsonist: The letter J is on a tipped over flammable container, implying whatever was inside, probably toxic in some form, was dumped over the ground. I'd have to verify that there was spillage, but an environmentalist would probably not do that.

Interestingly, my wife was just watching the British Jane Eyre TV mini series (2006), and one day a gypsy comes to the house and gives fortunes to the entire staff. The old woman is dead-on 100% accurate, for everyone including Jane, then it turns out that the master of the house had hired the woman and fed her all of the information as a joke. The "gypsy" looked amazing only as long as you didn't know that she was reading from a pre-written script.

Anybody care to deliver me some tea ?

These videos about Mentalist is actually something, which hooked me up on this show - every single one is so informative and engaging! There was nothing in the secret compartment btw)))

Part of what makes Patrick Jane fun is the way he does things. In that episode with the jewelry box he sleeps through Lisbon's briefing then tells her he trained himself to to take in information while sleeping.  She immediately guesses that the others told him the info, and he just admits it without the slightest embarrassment or shame.

Those ballerina boxes are very common. "Secret compartment", too. I had one when I was young. With existing evidence of sentimentality... It was a guess, but not all that unreasonable.  😁

I think it was a bigger leap to assume she was actually having an affair at all, tbh.
