22:25 here after Bam scored 83 against the Wizards

If Kobe is not in your top 5 shooting guards of all time or your top 10 of all time players you are crazy. Period.

Kobe was an all star starter his second year, but wasnt starting on his team… at that point you have to admit him not starting has nothing to do with his ability, it was just his coaches choice

I know tim Duncan hates these conversations. If he was more extrovert he would be in a lot of conversations.

I’ve never heard people use rushmore as a popularity list and not just a top 4

Only thing nasty is how bad skap owned them haters

Also why do we discuss Shaq & Kobe like this & reduce their careers by pitting them against eachother we do not do this with Magic & Kareem

Skap is like the J. Jonah Jameson of basketball with how he talks about LeBron.

YALL ARE ALL WRONG, THE MT RUSHMORE IS
DYLAN
DYLAN
DYLAN
& DYLAN🔥

Having two players [Magic and Kareem] who both played with each other on the my Rushmore is crazy to me.

Low Lights: You cannot overlook the context of Kobe being THE FIRST GUARD EVER drafted out of high school. Dell Harris was an old school ass coach who didn't understand how to develop a talent like Kobe, because the league had never seen it before at age 18. Kobe had to take the lumps so guys like LeBron could get a better opportunity to make a more immediate impact out of high school.

14:38 this conversation is why I try to preemptively omit players who played exclusively before the NBA merger. It's unfair to 70s and 60s players to tax them for the game being less popular and having less competition. It's also unfair to more modern players to pretend the lack of competition didn't benefit the generational stars of that time. West, Robinson, Russell, and Chamberlain came into the league as the best players at their position because they were generational athletes in a young professional sports league. How do I compare that to a league where the rules are entirely different and there are significantly more unique teams to match up with?

23:32 he definitely burned that jersey when LeBron left Cleveland and then picked it back up when LeBron returned in 2014 😂

Low lost a debate that he wasn't even participating 😂😂😂

so jubilee but sports.. just what the internet needed !

22:39 I come from the future to let y'all know that Bam Adebayo, yes Bam Adebayo just got 83 pts tonight!!! Unf*ckinbelieveable fam

10:28 this was actually a good point regarding Kobe’s impact

LOW, you are TWEAKIN talking about Tony Parker being less impactful than Pau Gasol. 2013  was going to be his second finals MVP had the Spurs not blown it. In 2014, Kawhi was finals MVP and went on to be perennial all NBA. Also, Manu/Tony were always better than any 3rd option Kobe ever played with.

There is definitely context to Kobe not being a starter right away compared to other stars who went to the league out of high school. He wasn't drafted into a struggling team who needed immediate productivity from a rookie, plus the Lakers had the confidence he was going to be a great player and had to make sure he didn't go to any other team.

His new nickname should be “Yap Attack” 😂
