No body addresses toileting. Someone suggested portable bidet  in the toilet.  Best advice i highly recommend

For sleeping, rather than sleeping on a recliner, which as a side sleeper for me was not good, I got an adjustable platform that fits under my existing mattress and on my current bed frame, to sleep on. It raises my head and feet to a comfortable position for sleeping and resting. Any mattress store has these. You may be able to rent one of these as well. I am over a year post-op. With physical therapy, it all does get better!

5:58 it made me laugh but after surgery in two weeks I'll probably be feeling the same way.

I used a hairdryer to dry my skin after shoulder surgery, it worked very well for me 👍

Today lm on my first week surgery, l took a shower with the help of my  husband . It was great . thank God

Washing my waist-length hair in the shower is accomplished by putting a 1/2 teaspoon of shampoo - conditioner combo on the top of my head before I get in to the shower. When standing under the water, I  use my free hand to massage the shampoo into my hair, and make nice suds. Continuing the shower, my hair rinses itself under the water flow, while I wash the other parts of my body. I make sure that all the shampoo is out by doing a final rinse still standing upright. After I've turned the water off, I squeeze out the excess water with my one hand. At no time do I detach the removeable sprayer ! That just makes things complicated.

Going under the knife on the 29th and been practicing for the last few weeks and I gotta tell ya,  Im not looking forward to losing the complete use of my strong arm but glad to hear It's not uncommon to feel this way....Let the fun begin

Don't shower before you're not okay. Use wet wipes. The bathroom is the most dangerous place in your home.

Thanks a bunch for the videos, Doc! I did a few things before my surgery. I used a  fish stringer, which has a long needle and loop on it.drilled holes through two bars of soap. Looped it over the shower head positioned knots to hold the soap from sliding, then tied it off on the shower control. Allows me to soap up a wash cloth, before I get in. A v8 fusion bottle under the arm and nylon sling.pvc Shower mat. learning to be ambidextrous months before surgery will make it much easier.

Great tips thank you for these! I have a full thick full wide supraspinatus tear  & getting that reattached with my bicep long head muscle. Any videos on tips  post surgery LHB do's & don'ts? I haven't found out info on when to move the bicep, etc.  Thank you in advance ❤

Hello,  could you please send me all the material that I will need to recovery from shoulder replacement. Thank You

I will have SLAPP 2  on Dec 12, 2025. Your video is helpful.

Hi Daniel. Could you show how we can verify that a supraspinatus surgery went well. Maybe some exercises that would show if its not healed or if its tear again ?
Was told by my surgeon that it will be fully healed after 2 years and I am 6 month pass this and a Biceps SLAP that is now healed in the bicipital groove. I can do bicep curls now with 18kg and won't go up to 26kg as I used to do before I know its strong enough.
Also I would like to know what exercise in the gym that I should avoid

This sounds very AI.
