My respect for jojo siwa  went down hill when she defended Colleen

Jojo: "I wasn't groomed I've known her since I was 12"
Everyone else: oh hun..noooo👀

I don’t think people remember/realize Jojo was raised around people like this her entire life. People like Shane, James, and Colleen are “normal” to her. She herself is a victim.

JoJo was definitely groomed by Colleen, Trisha Patas made a video on this and she made a lot of good points. JoJo has been manipulated by adults her whole life. She should go to therapy if she isnt in already. JoJo is still a kid somewhat, so she is gonna grow up and start to find out that she was manipulated and taken advantage of. JoJo is a victim, but she doesn't realize it yet. It's sad and I hope she gets the help she needs.

I hate how so many people turn out to be shitty and/or controversial

I think one of the main reasons Jojo has this certain stance on the topic is because she was personally been groomed by Colleen and therefore cannot come to terms with the extent of what Colleen has done. It happens with many victims, they want to defend the person grooming them because they are 1: afraid or 2:still trying to come into acceptance with what is happening. Either way, it’s really fucked up for her to be defending someone like Colleen, but I also wanted to put my opinion out there about another point

my view on this is that jojo has been groomed and manipulated by colleen to make her think this. im sure she will have a different view in a few years when this will hopefully be over. when you are groomed, you are not in your right mind, you are controlled.

This is so messed up especially because her fan base is children :(

im in shock.. honestly, i used to be such a huge fan of jojo never would i have ever imagined her defending something like this

Who the hell is friends with a 12 year old, I’m in my late 20’s now and I can confidently say I have never been friends with a child, I have talked to family members kids at events but to actually become friends and text them is soooooo strange AND hang out with them. Stop. That’s weird. Colleen is a YouTuber she could of reached out to ADULT YouTubers just as easily. There’s no excuse.

Jojo has clearly been groomed entirely, by many. It'll take a lot of strength for her to break out of that

its the ponytail. its causing her to lose braincells.

She’s admitting and showing how much she’s idealized Colleen since she was 12…clear conflict of interest.

This is so crazy that jojo continues to defend her. The poor victims.

This is so wild to see that Jojo supports Colleen when her fanbase is literally children and young teens. Like, how can she basically be fine with what Colleen did while also making content for children??

I obviously don’t know for sure, but I’d suspect that she has terrible parents based on what her childhood was. I feel like she’s a type of victim as well.

The fact that Jojos audience is minors and she's condoning Colleens behavior is very concerning. I personally think Jojo might be a victim of Colleen without even knowing it, why else defend her. Johnnie is the right person to report on this specific subject having lived through something similar himself. 🖤

As a victim of SA I see JoJo as much of a victim as the others who actually faced Colleen's bad side and she was groomed and probably even touched but because her parents don't do anything about it. My heart breaks for poor JoJo 💔 Now this doesn't mean I agree with what she says by any means but we need to remember that even if she's legally an adult now she wasn't when she first met Colleen meaning she basically grew up with Colleen in her life so she simply can't see her for what she is because it's hard to come to terms with the fact that someone who you trusted and maybe even looked up to has violated you and others so much that people you don't even know are trying to help you. Speaking from experience here.

She is going out of her way to hang out and make videos with James, Shane, and Collegen, which is a massive red flag. She has no empathy for the victims and is actively complying in (re)platforming these individuals.

Johnnie, your take on the Colleen situation is excellent.  It’s especially important because you’re someone who’s been on YT since you were a minor.  JoJo needs to realize that Colleen is not a victim of “cancel culture;” she’s a victim of her own actions and toxic behavior…and she’s being held accountable.
