Anyone at the Colston Hall in Bristol about 20 years ago when Glen Campbell played will remember the crazy moment when i spontaneously walked my 80 yr old dad down to the stage and asked Mr Campbell to shake his hand. He did. Two weeks later, my Dad passed away. I cannot think of anything better to have done for him. I'll never forget seeing the two of them, my dad full of admiration and Mr Campbell full of generosity of spirit. I try to live up to both their standards. So glad you all enjoy this as much as we do. Music and love are really such universal languages. Good luck to you all.
Glen may have been noted mostly as a country player - but the man had an ear that just wouldn't quit. He could stand on a stage with George Benson, play lead on a pop-jazz tune, and make George smile.
