Die USA unterstützten nicht Pol Pot als Person, aber ihre Politik gegen Vietnam kam den Roten Khmer indirekt zugute.
Überall mischte die CIA mit, angefangen bei Mohammad Mossadegh und bis in die heutige Zeit hinein. Es geht immer um US amerikanische Interessen. Der amerikanische Exceptionismus ist vollkommen unabhängig davon, wer gerade Präsident ist.
