I feel like jigglypuffs final smash attack is based off the anime where there's a giant jigglypuff and a giant alakazam

Wanna point out
Kirby's new FS is more than just a basic Ultra Sword reference, the exact animation is a reference to the final boss of RtDL when you use the ability to land the final blow.

Bowser's final smash in Ultimate always made me think of the final battle in Super Mario Galaxy, where a giant Bowser punches a small planet 🤔

“The move is unique to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. However, the name may be a reference to Luigi always being in his brother's shadow, as Luigi was originally just a palette swap of Mario for player 2. The North American version of the game also implies that the Negative Zone is the representation of Luigi's negative feelings about being in Mario's shadow.”
“Although Puff Up is not an attack in any Pokémon game, Jigglypuff - as the "Balloon" Pokémon - is stated in the Pokédex to be capable of inflating its balloon-like body, and its evolution Wigglytuff is described as being able to inflate to incredible sizes. These abilities are shown in various media such as its appearances in the anime, where a recurring individual Jigglypuff would puff up when angered, notably growing to an incredibly large size on one occasion during a visual gag, and one particular instance of a giant Jigglypuff that fought a giant Alakazam and Gengar.”
“While this move does not pull directly from any particular Zelda game, the Sheikah eye symbol represents the Sheikah clan, which Princess Zelda claims to belong to while in the Sheik persona. In official artwork for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Sheik is depicted fighting various monsters with a dagger alongside Link, but in the actual game she is not depicted fighting in any capacity. Sheik uses kunai daggers for her basic attack string in Hyrule Warriors, in which she uses a highly acrobatic fighting style that involves attacking the same enemy from multiple angles, which may have inspired this Final Smash.”
"Galaxia is the name of Meta Knight's sword in the anime, Kirby: Right Back at Ya! A legendary sword with immense power, it appears to be a mere hilt when sheathed, with the blade forming after being drawn. The multi-pronged design first appeared in the games with Kirby Air Ride, where Meta Knight used it in his appearance as a playable racer. At the time of Brawl's release, however, it had never been referred to as Galaxia in the games. Kirby's Epic Yarn, released after Brawl, is the first game to name the sword Galaxia. The move itself is named after the sword, while the darkness is created through his Dimensional Cape.”
"Aura Storm is not an actual attack in the Pokémon series. However, it resembles Hyper Beam, a special Normal-type attack that, while very powerful, forces the user to waste a turn recharging after a successful use. Most fully evolved Pokémon can learn this move, including Deoxys and Lucario itself. Aura Storm's color scheme in Brawl resembles Hyper Beam in Pokémon Battle Revolution.”
“While the move itself is original to Smash, it takes inspiration from several Nintendo peripherals. Accessories such as R.O.B and the Zapper used light and laser technology to function, with R.O.B specifically detecting light changes on a screen to activate one of several actions.”
“Super Diffusion Beam and Guided Robo Beam are a complete Smash original, having no equivalent in Gyromite or Stack-Up, the only two games that are compatible with R.O.B. The Beam aspect of the move is very loosely adapted from the Optoelectronic technology used by R.O.B. and the Zapper to communicate with games.”
The move is derived from the various poses that the trainers and players are required to perform during gameplay of the Wii Fit series. The silhouette art-style used for the attack matches the yoga poses seen on the Japanese boxart for Wii Fit, as well as Wii Fit Trainer's character poster.
The Miis’ final smashes are based on other’s final smashes and probably also inspired by things in Wii Sports, Party and Mii Plaza

10:25 I have to be completely honest with you guys! The PK Starstorm has always been one of my favorite Final Smash!
@OmnicidalClown1992 2 years ago (edited)
You know what could work for a future Smash Bros game? If you're either given the option of what Final Smash you want, (Especially towards the fighters that have had multiple Final Smashes throughout their run in Smash Bros,) or have each playable character get three Final Smashes based on what direction of the analog stick is when it's about to be activated. Neutral and Side Final Smash would be the same, and both the Up Final Smash and Down Final Smash would be different.

9:47 I think this one is supposed to be a reflection of the dark side he embraced in his brother's shadow."

“I think you look better in a tank.”
“Why don’t you come down here, Pit?”
“I’ll pass, Star Fox…”

Kazuya has the best final Smash as it’s from his final confrontation with his father, Heihachi Mishima.

This was introduced in Brawl but it feels like final smashes have been around since the beginning, well that was the plan
@I_am_Starters 1 year ago
You could say that Jigglypuff's Final Smash is the Minimize movement but inverted, meaning it enlarges it instead of shrinking it.
