if salma hayek wants to wear pigtails i say let her wear pigtails

Spy kids 1 and 2 was peak, but there's something about the 3rd one that makes it iconic. Especially the times it came out i remember as a child buying the dvd where you get those cheap 3D glasses with it but it was so cool at the time.

'Cake' was him shortening the phrase 'Piece of Cake' because it was so easy for him to destroy the door. 👍

So in the theaters at the end when Junie says “put your glasses on it’s the only way you can see what’s really happening” there was a prompt in the theaters for the audience to put their  3d glasses on as well (not all of the movie was 3d) so it was like you were joining in on the action haha. It was actually pretty groundbreaking at the time tbh to have it written into the script

THE END OF THIS MOVIE WAS MY AVENGERS PORTAL SCENE

4:55 Exactly! I remember seeing this in theaters as a kid and when he puts on the glasses a big "GLASSES ON!" Prompt came up on the bottom of the screen so it felt like we were in the movie!!! Man I miss that sort of magic!

This is an absolute childhood classic especially the scene with Elijah wood was absolutely hilarious 😂💯🔥

the cgi in this was atrocious, but somehow i loved it growing up.😭😭

I vividly remember watching in the movie theater when it came out with the 3D glasses and thinking to myself that the graphics of the video game looked awesome

"there's nothing more i want than another half to sit in bed and laugh at these movies with" that's so cute awe 😭

25:34 SOMEBODY RING THE DINKSTER

7:50 Glen Plowell really has been in everything lol

The fact you get stuck on the “cake” line yet all it was was him saying like piece of cake, but just said cake instead lmaooo

“SOMEBODY RINGG THE DINKSTERR??” I completely forgot about that part, your reaction to it made it the icing on the cake 😂😂

Please don't forget this whole time, Juni was playing with catfish, before they were called catfish

Spy kids is just a classic. Of course it doesn't comprehend to blockbusters or the technology we have now but when I was younger I loved it and watched it unhealthy amount of times 😂 No matter what for the year it was produced in it's still quite an interesting movie :D

I forgot how much I loved this movie. It nails what so many movies fuck up. Its fun. Thats it. It didn't pretend to be anything else. Is it a literary masterpiece? No. But the point of any media is to be enjoyable, and I smiled the whoooooole time. Thats a W.

The best bit from this film is after the race when the gamers say something like "this life counter will hit zero faster than you can say "oops""

And then when The GUY shows up he does actually manage to say "oops" BEFORE he dies, thus proving he is infact The GUY. It's such an oddly specific thing to reference for a joke.

I'm pretty sure this was the first 3D movie I ever saw as a kid in theaters... and boy was it mind-bending fun. not to mention back in the day this was pretty impressive, groundbreaking stuff to see in a kid's film, and the concepts it brought were pretty damn cool. its not supposed to be super-serious or anything, just a fun goofy time, and it certainly succeeded.

Bill Paxton being in spy kids will always be my favorite
