This Unstable Fan Channel Shouldn't Exist

These Strange Unstable SMP theories were discovered underground on our server. They came from an unknown channel: 'Riptide' and somehow, were uploaded before the Unstable SMP even existed. This was the start of the impossible and 'eerie' rabbit-hole. A rabbit-hole I regret ever discovering...

Riptide's Channel: ‪@Riptide-l3o‬

This is an ARG created specifically for this video. This was the most ambitious project I've ever attempted so I hope you enjoy!

~~Minor spoilers below~~

Inspired by "The Willows (1907)" By Algernon Blackwood.

Never thought there would be an literal ARG on Unstable, let alone made about a theory

that’s fucking scary, knowing unstable smp before it even existed is mad crazy… knowing the characters, the supposedly smp name, the era, it’s driving me insane.

it’s honestly a sad ending to see him have to make a hard decision to kill algernon it honestly shows that in the end the willows took over him and he forgot in the last moments

This has to be one of my most favorite ARG apart from Wifies bro
It may not have as many views as other popular ARGs, but I assure you that one day it'll certainly become as popular as them.

We need more people like you bro🤝

I can't help but find every sound effect and every visual horror in the first 4 minutes hilarious

What if everything after the crash was just in the protagonists mind, since before him and Shadow were using Discord, but after that they switch to proximity chat and when Infertrex tries to message Shadow he doesn’t respond and also both shadow and algernon dont have death messages and also, when riptide traps the protagonist in that dimension he says to not question where he is, maybe to hide the fact that nothing is real and it’s all just in his mind

The creator of the "predicting" video used a trick to look like they predicted.

Dude the ending literaly has me in tears this was absolutely peak great story great characters great plot 10/10

@neux64 3 weeks ago

The ending struck me deep, like, on an existential level. It brought me to tears when Algernon could no longer fight back, while still holding on to the thought of them being friends. It's like when you think of how Alzheimer's or dementia might one day creep up on you as you get older, and you'd never know it until it was too late..
