You will be missed Danya, thank you for everything you have done for chess.. Rest in peace, legend.. :(

god that commentator made the game even more amazing than it already was! "as magnus takes a sip of his caffeinated coca cola" hahahaha

Daniel Naroditsky is one of the greatest chess commentators of our time. The ability to seamlessly explain the thought processes of BOTH players, follow the game, and keep the commentary engaging and interesting is something that is truly amazing.

Immediately came here after learning what happened. One of the best commentators ever. RIP Danya.

Narrated like an action packed football game, well done 👏🏼

I was just thinking "these are the longest seconds I've ever experienced" before realizing it adds time after each move.

0:34 "I don't know let's just castle" - Hikaru Nakamura

I like that you have two of the best players of our time playing head to head here, and the whole comment section is about Daniel. The commentating speaks for itself.

Still cant believe danya is no more with us . Many condolences to his family. Rip the legend 🕊️😭

When chess becomes a full blown esport with thousands of spectators in the audience in a full blown arena like league of legends, I want Danya to be the play by play commentator.

He understands the game so well and can not only explain it clearly, but engage the audience masterfully.

Devastated by this news man. RIP Danya, I wish the community could have helped you overcome this.

One of the greatest commentators, trainers, and representatives of chess. Most of all, a kind and genuine human being.

9:21 I love how Magnus throws Hikaru's rook and then decides to hit the clock before fixing the position - Hikaru doesn't seem to be happy :D

Magnus Carlsen vs Hikaru Nakamura is probably one of the most interesting games of all time considering that they both have an adventage at different chess times.

Man!! The commentator was dope!! Good content!!

IDK what's more impressive: Magnus' precision, Hikarus speed or Danyas both precise and incredibly fast analysis and commentary. This is like the PERFECT game of chess.
