Nice that you do these tests to save us the time and expense, thanks.

Thank you for the tips.  I gain so much from our community since I don't have a local club here in the Rock Hill SC area

Thank you for sharing sir

I just dunk the chrome parts in Easy-Off and prime and shoot AK Interactive metal paint. The Aluminum give the non-polished look and the polished aluminum looks great for the more dressier stuff.
But since the good stuff from Testors is gone we have to compensate.
Merry Christmas Luka and Happy New Year!!

i wish someone would make a back half for ladder bars. most super stock cars and modifieds ran ladder bar rear ends in the late 60s up till the early 80s. i grew up at the drag strips from 72-81

Loved the makeshift spray “booth.”

Thanks for this review and tip Matt. Here in Canada we no longer can get Tamiya nor Mr. Hobby spray cans. Loved both products. Started using the Valeo products and AK products.
Works well, but I still miss Tamiya & Mr. Hobby.
Great channel been watching you for a long while. Great channel!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you and your family!

Great Vid Luka the rims look good from my house but I get were your comin from had a set on my 68 GTX 1/1 😁🤩Scooter😎PS Have a gooder New Year Dou🤠

I wouldn't say it's bad. It just didn't achieve the effect you were looking for. Im sure that Matt Clear would be good for knocking down the shine of a delicate enamel with decals on it.  I personally would dechrome them and paint them with the testors chrome which looks like a machined finish. Thanks for sharing your test result. It was a learning experience.

I use Krylon Matte Finish 1311, then Tamiya black panel liner. It gives a pretty good effect.

I’m confused how could it be water based if it has to be sprayed?   I thought all clears that get sprayed are lacquer based

I've found Tamiya smoke on chrome looks better than panel liner Matt. X19. Then, for that dull finish you're after, shoot Tamiya flat clear over the top. No problem with compatibility. I also use Tamiya smoke in the rattle can to get a more realistic chrome finish on that toyish looking chrome you get in some kits. TS-71. Works a treat.

What would happen if you used the Testors or Tamiya over the Mr. Surfacer?  Theoretically, the Panel Liner is protected....

We're stylin?😳
Inks work whether us or india made!🙄
