Water tastes so much better when I'm watching one of your videos 💦🧊

Killed by a podcast.
Sign of the times.

Those 2 women are filled with Soooo much ego and pride they openly refused help. I can't feel sorry for people like that. I feel sorry for the people who had to put up with their nonsense

I feel sorry for those mules having to operate daily in such extreme heat.

Did these 2 ever hike anything ever?  This is crazy.  Mega crazy.

All I can think of is the trauma the rest of those mule riders experienced... they signed up for a lovely canyon ride and ended up watching two women die a horrendous death that was 100% preventable. 😢

No horse or mule should have to carry more than 15% of their own weight under those extreme conditions.  The Equnie Standard is 20% for conditioned horses.

They were used to the Dublin heat. Wow. It is strange how people who have never experienced the desert heat underestimate it.

If the nurse had spoken to them with concern the sisters probably would have repeated to mind her own business that they knew what they were doing. One hundred per cent their own ego and their fault.

When I was 20 I was in good shape.  It took me all day to get down and 2 days to get back up.  I knew people who could do it all in a day.  Many people don’t take enough water or are out of shape and have to be helicopter lifted out.  Very expensive.   Because of uranium mining you can’t drink the water at the bottom.  My friend put some on his arms and got blisters.  People who think they are conquering nature are silly.  It will be there long after you’re gone.  Mother Nature and Father Time are undefeated.

Sad for their family, that lost two people at once 😟😥

If anyone had said anything to them, they would have ignored the advice, as they've already proven.

Thank you so much for these videos.  We live in Arizona where temperature often surpasses 110 F in the summer.  We are well aware of the danger of the desert.  However, there are so many tourists that die hiking in the dry heat every year. It is just heart-breaking.

1:05 Just because you have money doesn't mean you can treat people and animals however you want. The guide said the animals will suffer because off the weight. Animals feel pain too. That's another reason my wife and I don't like people.

I've done stupid things when I was young, but not that stupid! How sad. Thanks!

So they called the canyon a bitch , till karma became a bitch in vengeance to their contempt and cruelty to animals!

I have epilepsy. I'm so glad to hear someone manage a seizing person correctly.

#1 You can't swallow your own tongue. I cannot count the time someone with a good heart and no idea about epilepsy jam a stick or a pillow or an apple or tragically their own fingers in my mouth. I've never actually bitten a finger clean off, but I've bitten people to the bone. Just pull the person away from walls, furniture, turn then on their side in case the vomit, it won't choke them, put a pillow or folded. Call  blanket under the head, a few soft things. Call emergency services asap and try to keep an eye on the they've been seizing. That seriously important. A 4 minute seizue may do a number on your recent memory. Insist on a CAT scan. Anytime above 6 minutes or with obvious knots, eyes pupils that are blown, are all signs for emergency evacuation . No two seizures look alike

In 2026, the weight limit is 200 pounds, fully dressed, for deep canyon rides. It’s 225 for the rim ride.

Respect the heat and the canyon. It’s a wonderful place to hike, go in the cooler months. Great last sentence in this video.

Why didn't others intervene? They'd already observed that these women were hostile to advice or suggestions.
