The payoff for that wind level was well worth it. So cool.

I liked the Diddy Kong Notification. Especially for the levels that had no music, it was a nice substitute. The jingle was damn cool.

Well, he knows his YT audience and how we'd complain about all the gift sub notifications - I'm 30 minutes in and still seeing them.

“That was kind of nice” plays after you loses😂

I miss the old DK sounds. They were awesome.

I think the WR for the wind level cheesed it by sprinting to the hammer bros then breaking the second to last brick block and using the third to last brick to realign themselves. After that they should have been fine to use the wind as intended so it's basically a improvised checkpoint. The only other stop/start location that can be interacted with is on the cannon bridge where you stop directly after the third one up hidden block. You could use that block to realign but I think it's too many wind cycles away for WR. Even starting at the hammer bros I think you've got to be super optimised about getting to the hammer bros, breaking the block and recalibrating.

Either that or they just sprinted to the final stop/start and then brute forced the sub-pixel setup with multiple attempts.

Yes, I remember the torture of the DK jingle

28:17 I noticed the one life a few seconds before you did, that was awesome! You really were loving that level, very cool design. And great checkpoint placement.  Also, I loved seeing the record hype train, hopefully you can do something to celebrate or commemorate it! I wonder if you could make an emoji that references this level with the cool setups. Idk, it's cool that your audience is so supportive.

What about. Get the floating mushroom first, and then go get the question block. Maybe it's a progressive power up

Liked the video for the commitment to finish the level even when it took that much time. Also, I've been watching you for years and I didn't ever care about Twitch notifications, my mind just ignore them, except when that raid notification was perfectly aligned to toast Toad, that was fire (pun intended)!

14:36 Wait, there's a limit on how many showballs you can pick up before you have to destroy them, just like crates?? That could be great for a troll level

Im glad im watching these even tho im behind what a level! Im gonna catch up apparently this weeks was nuts

Man that wind level. Whomever got that WR knows some elite knowledge, I guess, lol.

I don't think that the wind pulls you left when it stops blowing. I think that it just stops blowing before the visual effect is over but you're still pushing left, so it looks and feels like it's pulling you to the left. Either way it's stupid and needs fixing.

the level was at 8 clears before that weird guy said he knew the answer with the wind. it ranked up to 9. maybe a coincidence but somebody did beat it during the stream

Man, the wind saga was pretty epic!

For that first level, the clear criteria should be no hitting the jump button. That way you can still fall, just no jumping. Or have both as options

OMG YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND OUR PLIGHT!!! The Acapella rendition was being back my PTSD from the old twitch notification.

Bring back the DK diddy dance 🕺🏽 notifications
