guys guys you see miquella combined the corpses of mohg and radahn because he thought stitching two half-brothers together would finally get him a whole brother (this is a joke) (courtesy of my sister for coming to this conclusion)
Miquella's curse was a little worse than eternal youth, it was more like eternal unrealized potential.
Throughout the game you find heaps of stories about Miquella trying to help people, and every single time he ALMOST succeeds. Be it curing his sister, resurrecting his undead brother, creating the Haligtree, or attaining godhood, Miquella was cursed to always fall right before the finish line.
2:00 Miquella's ability to compel everyone to love him is likely not tied to his eternal youth curse but rather to his Great Rune. Consequently, once he abandons the Rune, his mind-control ceases to function. He only regains this ability later when he fully embraces godhood. By that point, however, he is no longer cursed, as he now possesses a fully grown adult body.
I fully believe the theory that Miquellaâs true curse isnât eternal youth but eternal nascency, meaning everything he does will never come to fruition Like curing Malenia, ressurecting/killing Godwyn and creating a new world order
Fun fact, the fingers actually arenât talking with anyone cuz metyr is basically broken and canât speak with the GW anymore, and all the fingers get there info from metyr, their mother, so she basically just says random stuff back to the fingers, which is funny
It's kinda funny actually. 3:14 , nourishing plants with blood is a real thing. It's called "Blood Meal" and it works the same way as Bone Meal. You don't... use pure blood I don't think. It's dried first I think???
I am OBSSESSED with the idea of Miquella's eternal youth not only being physical, but applying also to his psychology and mentality. The whole idea of creating a perfect paradise where no illness or suffering exist is typically childish. The question "why can't we all just be happy together?" is typically childish, which is quite literally the point of his character. He lies like a child, he sees the world in black an white like a child aka "If everything goes wrong because the others are ruling the world, then everything will go right if I make my own rules and force people to follow them." He's a child who's been given eternal life, absolute knowledge and super powers. Of course he's going to use them in the worst way possible ever while thinking that what he's doing is good. I'm convinced also doesn't understand (on an emotional level, probably on a logical level he does) other people's feelings and why their free will matter. He has a see problem â solve problem logistic that he applies to even his sister's curse. "Malenia is suffering, I'm gonna do this and that so she doesn't". He doesn't emotionally understand half of what he's doing.
at 7:00 will note that st trina was mikaela's love that he threw away. A part of him understands his plan is imperfect and thus he turns the love within himself into ST trina and casts her away
