To everyone that asks why certain fighters weren’t included in here, particularly the DLC ones, remember that animation takes a long time. The creator probably has been working on this while DLC fighters were still being announced and probably couldn’t just shoehorn them in since he had an initial story plan to follow through with.

This better be in everyone recommendations, the hard work put into this is too good

I love how sonic and pikachu are a team before they find pictures it reminds me of the world of light cutscene where sonic tried to save pikachu

Cloud:Thank God I didn't have an enemy show up.
Sephiroth:Yo.
Cloud:..Dammit.
Terry:Are you okay?
Cloud:No.
Min Min:Ramen?
Cloud:Not interested.
Pyra:This guy's pretty cold.
Mythra:I like it.

I like how everyone solves things is the most logical way, like Zelda not just standing there and teleporting away. I would love to see a revamped version of this in the future, with all the dlc! Incredible job!

I honestly feel like something like this should be the new Subspace Emissary.
Great animation btw.

I’m glad villager is a hero since everyone thinks he’s evil but yes he does have a shine in his eye

What world of light could have been.

You made an absolutely epic and gigantic 42 minutes Smash Bros animation and this is not trending everywhere else? Someday this will appear on the recommendations

@casualwoomy 5 years ago

If this were the actual story mode, the animators would probably wanna die

For some reason, this video unlocked old memories of 10 year old me playing Subspace Emissary and unlocking characters for the first time and I love it

@dualheroes64 5 years ago

People who dislike the video don’t understand the hard work put into this. Animation is really fucking hard and requires a lot of hard work, patience, and dedication. It won’t look it’s best as visioned but as time progresses, you’ll get better and better. Keep up the work dude.

26:20 WOW! He'd be broken as heck if he could do smash attacks in the air.

When everyone teamed up together to fight Master and Crazy Hand, I thought dozens more were gonna be revealed with Galeem, leading this to be a World of Light prequel.

Netherless, I really enjoyed seeing this, and it made me miss the characters interacting that much more from Subspace Emissary. Awesome job!

I can already imagine this all in the same style as the Ultimate and Brawl cutscenes and figure out what the gameplay would be. This would have been amazing to see in the real game. I just hope Nintendo does this again.
