Even though Nancy was a drug addict that doesn't mean she deserved to die and people in this documentary are forgetting she was a human being who was stabbed to death. He made the decision to start doing heroin he was responsible for his own addiction and he was an addict before he met her!. Just because she did drugs with him does not mean people should act like she deserved to die. Do people have a conscience anymore?
I’ve seen so many documentaries and I think this is one of the best ones. I’ve seen a lot of information that was new compared to just the typical documentaries with the same old information.
It is a great shame that, many of the men featured in this documentary, absolutely reek of misogyny. Not only did so many wish ill on Nancy. Some were actively massaging bad into Nancy's life and, by extension, cloaking Machiavellian intrigue and nastiness into Sid's everyday existence. With friends like those .. .
So sad we will never really know for sure what happened leading up to both of their tragic deaths. Always left with more questions than answers. RIP Sid and Nancy, you are still loved and forever missed ❤
I always believed that Sid's mother gave him that last bit of heroin because she didn't want her son to go to prison for Nancy's murder. Nancy was a hugely messed up woman and I wouldn't be surprised if she did stab herself 😢 oh and just to get the details right, Sid's mother was a heroin addict when sid (John Simon) was just a small boy and got him not only to score drugs for her but give her hits too. He was broken from a very young age. Sad but true. Xx
I never noticed but Sid didn’t even inhale when he smoked. He couldn’t play bass. He wasn’t tough like his image would indicate. Doesn’t seem like very much was genuine about him.
There has been so many contradictory stories surrounding her death. To me this is an unsolved murder. I believe if this case would have made to trial there would have been a different outcome. With both of these people gone. We are just left with unanswered questions. I always felt that it was important to interview/ question the residents and people at the hotel. People surrounding their lifestyle. if this case was treated in such a way. Rather then the chaos afterwards. We would have a better view of the timeline. Maybe Nancy's death would been solved. Unfortunately these two kids . I mean kids. Got into some pretty dark things. Their lifestyle wasn't hip or cool. Their relationship wasn't something to sell tee shirts or tickets to. They met fall in love or something like that. Both had baggage. Both made decisions that lead to their destruction. I have listened to podcasts, watch other documentaries. This documentary is the closest to some the events, timeline leading to the horrible death. It's very sad that this how both of them are remembered.
