THIS is what happens when you compare cheap TEMU makeup VS the original high end products! I honestly don't know how they get away with some of these dupes. Like, is this legal orrrr? ANYWAY. I've had these products for a whiiiile now (notspon) and figured I may as well make a video to see what's good! Let me know which side you thought looked best 👀

Tell me what other brands and websites you want me to review in the comments!

Most big brands are made in China, Indonesia etc so the "dupe" is actually the name brand without the branding.

Alot of make up these days is getting pricey even drugstore! Over pricing are they allowed to get away with that? So idc im here for it

The biggest problem is you are so beautiful that you could wear anything and you still look beautiful.

I actually don't think the temu side is bad at all,the highlighter is pretty,I also do not get on with lip stains and I don't know why they just don't work for me 😂

So in the case of several of these I would call them counterfeits and not dupes, which is illegal in many countries. I also doubt if there is any attempt at safety assessment or quality control . You have to be very careful with pigmented products and high heavy metal contamination. I would also be skeptical of any microbial control either, especially after sitting in hot warehouses. As a toxicologist, I'd recommend sticking with drugstore products if you want to be economical.

You look softer and more gentle somehow—I couldn’t figure out why at first, then I realized it’s because you’re not wearing contact lenses

Apparently the Dollar Tree bronzing drops are better than the Drunk Elephant one! I don’t use either but I saw Manny’s video last week.

I was in my youth in the 90s and I regret plucking my eyebrows so thin. They never grew back properly. At 53 I wish I had my 80s brows 🤣

I’m sorry but everything looks amazing on you even if it’s Temu or high end!! 😩😅💕💕

I love watching your videos ❤ you’re genuinely my comfort creator and I actually don’t think the sides look that different to save the prices difference. You look gorgeous as always ❤

Lakerain does a ton of dupes! They have one the one size pink powder and TirTir cushion foundation.

youre brave for trying the temu makeup!! i am so skeptical about it .. i mean i understand the dupes with how expensive make up is these days!!

You’re still my favourite, Steph! It makes me so happy to see you still doing these makeup videos. Could you possibly do a video for sweat proof makeup, with summer coming up… pretty please? ❤️ ☀️

I do like makeup from temu but i.m choosing brands like gege bear or herorange and avoid obvious copies of western brands. In my opinion with counterfeits the probability of having something toxic is much bigger than brands with more asian looking makeup and names

for your eye shape and over all the weight of your facial features i think thicker brows suits you best. if you wanna try anything try less lifted arched brows for that seggsy look that you desire

Foundation:
Sits on my face vs feels like I’m wearing nothing at all (nothing at all, nothing at all) 😂

I reckon that counterfeit is when something is passed as the very same product even down to the name. Dupe is when its different but is very very close to the formula or color of the other thing. The gray area is when its not overtly trying to pass off as same brand but the iconic packaging etc is a total copy and could cause consumers to confuse them with the real thing and quality but are much lesser.
