8 People Who Never Stopped Filming
Today is September 15th, 2026 and, we're looking at eight recordings that outlasted the people who started them. A dive computer reading a hundred and fifteen meters at the bottom of the Blue Hole, a camera with a second film chamber the soldier who seized it never found, a livestream that went dark in a jacket pocket and kept recording sound, a McLaren on the Florida Turnpike in heavy rain, and a cave system sixty meters below the Maldives that six people never came back out of. Some of these are documented incidents with official investigations, court records and published findings behind them. Others are still open, and where a question hasn't been answered we've said so rather than filling in the gap for you.
None of this footage is shown to the point of harm. Where something happens, we cut before it, and in several of these cases the recordings themselves stop before anything is visible.
If any of what is discussed in this video affects you in any way, please reach out to someone you trust or a local support service.
Héctor Hernán Bustamante Gómez was identified by investigators and by the Henrichsen family's own long-running inquiry; he has not been convicted in connection with the shooting. Jack Doherty was cited for using a wireless device while driving and faced no further charges. Everything described here comes from published reporting, official inquiries and footage that is already public.
