I personally knew the Martens. There is no doubt in my mind, whatsoever, that Jason’s family is speaking the truth.

I'm thinking she must have given the children some kind of sleeping drug, they slept through the whole thing. Authorities should have tested them because if she did wouldn't this prove premeditated murder?

New trial date has been released. I hope they get locked up for life this time.

I’m SO glad they both were convicted because this was a truly heinous crime... I extend my condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. 🙏🏻

Loved your book Tracey. So sorry for the loss of your wonderful brother Jason. I hope the Martens never get out of prison. Evil

So terribly sad. Lovely family going through the unimaginable. Jason, no doubt, was mentally abused since he met Molly and she continued with her smear campaign even after brutally murdering him. I hope that the family can find some level of peace in time. RIP Jason

My heart went out to his parents in the audience. For your son to be widowed is terrible, but then for him to be murdered is beyond the comprehension of the vast majority of us. There was more love in this one video than the Martens will experience in their miserable lives.

As someone who lost my darling brother in a horrific way and his death was in part due to the actions of his partner I empathise completely with this amazing family. May the Most High bless you and those precious children x

So sorry for your loss. Was big story in the states and Molly and her father were not viewed with any sympathy. When they were interviewed their story was ridiculous. Not all Americans are like them. Sorry for your loss.

Coming to this after the Netflix doc. Incredible story and how they try to kill his character after they killed him made me so angry. Complete sociopaths both the Molly and her father.
Sidebar: you forget how bad and without empathy Tubridy was as an interviewer.

I have just started watching and reading about this story. I wondered if Molly had been talking to Jason online before going to Ireland. Something about her story doesn't add up from the very beginning.

The Martin's premeditated Jason's murder. I believe Molly wanted ultimate control. Jason packed bags . That's when Molly drugged Jason . Molly and her dad left two beautiful children orphaned . Sickening
