Just returned from California and Mount Fuji was a highlight. I'm eating one of those cookies as I write this. We did pretty much everything in your video; just in a different order. The weather was fickle and our views of the mountain were hit or miss. It finally cleared up right as we were on our bus back to Tokyo Station. We only got tickets for the boat at first because we didn't think we'd have time for anything else, but the boat ride was only 20 minutes. So we went up the tram afterward. Should mention they have swings up top for you to ride while looking at Mount Fuji (for a small fee, of course). This video helped us out a lot and I thank you for everything.

Because of your good daily behavior, God may have rained snow on Mount Fuji.

It was nice to be able to see Mount Fuji covered with snow so beautifully.

Up early at 4am. Checked Mt Fuji weather and it looked very promising. Breakfast of bakery snacks in my room.
04:59 Tokyo station (Marunouchi North Exit) - 06:10 Takao station (JR Chuo Rapid)
06:30 Takao station - 07:06 Otsuki station (JR Chuo Main)
07:24 Otsuki station - 08:05 Shimoyoshida Station (Fujikyuko Line)
Brilliant hike through Arakura Sengen Park up to Arakurayama Summit. Even though I was there very early, there were still a bunch of loud tourists. Not sure where they came from as they didn't take the train.
Lunch at a small mom and pop place.
Afternoon tea at A Happy Pancake Ginza.
Returned to hotel for rest and was lazy so dinner was room service (wagu burger).

I have a small suggestion: try using local or traditional music from the region as background—it makes the experience even more immersive and elevates the quality. For example, traditional Japanese music in your Japan travel videos would feel so natural. Can’t wait for your next videos!

Great vlog again, Jay and Karolina. Beautifully captured and explained. What a lovely area you were visiting. The view from the top of the cable car at Mt Fuji and around was stunning. Cookies looked yummy. The cruise and the food looked amazing. Well done on the excellent advice given.

Great video. I was in Japan back in April of this year and did a Mt. Fuji tour that I booked through Klook. It was round trip on the bus from Tokyo, ticket for the boat, ticket for sky rope, scenic view point stop(of Mt. Fuji) and a stop at a shopping mall. I forget the price but it was very reasonable when you consider all the things it included. We were very satisfied. Have safe travel. All the best to you from San Diego, California.

Amazing video guys! So very helpful too as I'm tossing up whether to do a planned tour or do it yourself. If you did it again, would you still do both the boat and the ropeway? Want to make the most of the trip!
