Michael Jackson took “They Don’t Care About Us” to Brazil 🇧🇷🔥 and the energy was CRAZY! Which version hits harder for you — Brazil 🇧🇷 or the Prison version? 👀👇
And what MJ video should we react to next? 🔥

Gotta do the Prison Version one NOW!😭✊🏽👑💯

That  one woman saw her CHANCE and WENT for it !! LOL. Can't blame her tho.

Michael Jackson was raising humanity consciousness with this song  and the controversial lyrics in a pivotal time in his career!! A very  courageous  moment for Michael.  Thank you  Michael!!!

The story behind this video is so legendary and shows how loved and influential Michael Jackson was..

Michael Jackson wanted to film this 😅video in the Santa Marta favela in Rio de Janeiro, an area considered so dangerous that even local police were hesitant to enter. The Brazilian authorities initially tried to ban the filming because they feared that showing poverty and violence would damage Brazil’s image and hurt tourism.

Since the government unable to guarantee safety and the police refusing to secure the area, the production team, including Brazilian filmmaker Katia Lund, had to negotiate directly with Marcinho VP, the powerful local drug kingpin, who controlled the favela. It turned out that Marcinho VP was a huge Michael Jackson fan and he was so excited as soon as he heard Michael Jackson name. He not only granted permission for the filming but he also personally guaranteed complete safety for Michael and the entire cast and crew. He also reportedly said that, “As long as Michael Jackson is in town, this is the safest place on earth, You could leave a million dollars and all the film equipment in the streets — no one will touch it”

The filming went perfectly, with Marcinho VP's gang providing security, and the residents joyfully participating in the video, The video ended up bringing global attention to the community’s culture, struggles, and resilience.

It’s unbelievable how Michael’s music and his message reached every corner of the world. He had fans everywhere — beyond language, beyond culture, beyond race.

A world with many MJ would be a beautiful, peaceful, and ideal world.

This man is the Best ever

This is such an important video. Actually Brazil didn't want him to come to favelas as they couldn't assure his safety. It was the local leaders that provided him the security so he could do this.

“Elevating consciousness”, haven’t heard a better description than that. Mentioning a different frequency is exactly what Michael is too. Man got deep on this one. 🍎 ✌️

Another powerful message from the ambassador of Music 🎶, Peace ☮️, and Love ❤️ Michael Jackson

The song was about him relating to people suffering injustice after he was unjustly accused in 1993. He was saying it doesn't matter who you are, they don't care about us

Michael Jackson 👑🤍🪽 the best forever

Love from Finland❤

A man only dies when he's forgotten,!
So,as long as we keep his spirit Alive, he's Still here with us 😊
His legacy is Eternal because True Greatness never fades 🔥💖
MJ was universally Loved by every race accross the Globe, Nobody before or after him has seen that type of fame

Such a powerful message and I really loved your reaction guys! Michael brings all people together and he truly cared about everything on this planet. The greatest! ❤

The Brazilian government tried at all costs to prevent Michael from filming there. Residents of the favela even organized a protest to ensure Michael could get in. Marcinho VP, the drug lord who controlled the favela at the time, told Spike Lee: “This place will be the safest spot on Earth. You can bring Michael Jackson and his equipment.”

I love the points you all made about Michael, and I totally agree! He was one of those rare entertainers who was not only multifaceted but also used his gifts and talents for the greater good of the entire world. He genuinely cared about the plights of others. And I think we struggle to find other entertainers on his level nowadays, because most everyone who gains fame, wealth and influence seem to care more about greed and holding onto what they have and obtaining even more of it than they do about helping anyone else. Sure, you'll see some of them visit children's hospitals or put themselves giving to different causes on social media for clicks and views. But there were no 'clicks and views' for Michael on social media. He did so many good things for so many people completely under the radar; visited children's hospitals, burn centers and cancer units without any fanfare. Between albums and tours when he would vanish for weeks and months at a time, he was using his own wealth to contribute to so many causes, including the healthcare and education of those less fortunate... and the press never covered it because they were too busy sensationalizing him, going for cheap ratings and magazine sales, by spreading stupid gossip that made him seem like such a weird person. There wasn't really anything strange or unusual about Michael. The thing, if any, that could've been considered unusual or out of the ordinary about him was his strength to endure what would've broken most "normal" humans completely down... and then he still kept springing back and climbing out of the pit that the press and media tried to shove him into time and time again. That was one strong brother... and he accomplished more in his short nearly 51 years on this earth than most will ever know.  Yes, it's sad that he's gone and we miss him terribly, but his soul is at peace, and it's a rest that's well-deserved. ❤❤❤

Another powerful song from the greatest of all : Michael Jackson 💖
MJ was a HUGE Threat to the evil powers of the entertainment industry.
They couldn't ensnore him in their evil web so they projected their evil deeds onto him 😢this is how evil fonctions through narcissists.
We were very fortunate to have him on earth for as long as we did.
The world Still mourns his absence because there will never be another MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON 🔥
