#34: A RECORD BREAKING DAY for me at Lechlade

This was a brilliant day at Lechlade on a cold and frosty January day. It was one of my corporate days and there were 16 fishing on the day. The biggest fish of the day was my great mate AlexMoses who Managed his personal best rainbow of 20.10lbs. For me, it was a crazy brilliant day and I never had a trout fight so hard. I managed 5 fish all doubles a personal best brown of just over 12lbs and a personal best rainbow of 19.8lbs and a 5 fish bag for 70lbs all these were my personal bests, an outstanding day with some top guys.

things have changed since i used to chase double figure rainbows back in the early 2000's , i used to stalk them with a 7 foot greys grx 4 weight and size 10 or 12 kamasan b175 stalking bugs , managed trout to 21lb 8 oz , but i moved onto sea trout, mullet and bass, this is giving me the bug to give stalking a few bows back, well done on your vlogs and nice trout captures , keep up the great work.
