ABOUT THE STOPS
Ricomini Bakery — A family bakery founded around 1915 by the Ricomini family, immigrants from Corsica, and run by the López family since 1984. It has six locations in western Puerto Rico, and everything is made in-house. Known for pan flauta, pastrami sandwiches, and brazo gitano.
E. Franco — A downtown Mayagüez shop open since 1850 and considered a piece of local heritage, with its original floors. Home of the brazo gitano, now in 27 flavors, plus breakfast, lunch, and appetizer platters. There is only one location.
