Made about 30 beats on mine and 5 been tracked on already. FL and Ableton starting to feel left out at my house. 😂

I had an MPC 1000 back in the day when it launched, and I really liked it a lot. I only sold it to purchase the first MacBook Pro so I could adapt a DAW workflow. Flash forward through the last 20 years and I now have every synth and sampler I need, but I never seen a need to purchase another MPC until the MPC Studio. I then realized I didn’t like the touch screen workflow. So this MPC Sample is the only thing that has appealed to me ever since I owned the 1000. I have used the MPD 32, and MPD 226 controllers to control Kong in Reason, and that has been my go to for finger drumming and chop’s. Seems to work just fine for me. However, I’ll get the Sample later on when they are available without the pre-order. I hope they do a few more updates by then and it will be at its best to get into. I can tell it’s dope to use and I’m looking forward to it. Until then, I will be saving for the Moog Matriarch. Other than that I will update my Digitakt and Digitone to the 2. No need for anything else, but the Sample just may be my last piece of gear I purchase lol

I agree the live 3 and the XL, it's too much stuff on there that you don't need that's why I return my live 3, keep it simple don't over think it.

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered one yesterday through Sweetwater. It'll be here on my birthday! Thanks for all you do, and for providing the classes. Definitely going to check out the MPC Sample Masterclass to wrap my head around the one track workflow coming from an MPC LIVE II.

@ccfunk1 2 months ago

Glad you said that. i only have a MPC Live 2.

I would like some simple EQ on each pad.

I’m happy with mine. I just take a walk to the park, enjoy the sunshine, make a beat and chill 😊 holds charge very well

@andyArt5 1 month ago

I juuuuust got one today. Really enjoying it so far.
It’s fun to chop the samples,which I’m just playing my keyboard and then chopping from there. I’m looking forward to taking this to the park and chill when it’s not 100 degrees in Texas. 😅

Glad I just barely managed to cop one before they were sold out everywhere. It's everything I dreamed of when it comes to standalone beatmaking, limitations and all! 🙌🏾

Just got one for my sons 17th birthday! Thanks for the dope video!

BRO! this was really great to hear. This really does feel the most you, like OG when I was first watching your vids on the 404SX and what was the other? like a novation- anyway really inspired and really happy Thomann is restocking them this coming week and I have one ordered. Peace to ya Sarah thanks for all this years yo

@siab5759 5 months ago

Oh wow. I’m glad you really came around it and liked it that much👍👏 I loved it from the jump. I remember ordering it at the Northridge Guitar Center and I bought what seemed to have been the last one around a good chunk of LA County so I was so psyched when they told me I got REALLY lucky. Everybody at that store flipped out when they saw me picking up the package

Got it ASAP - already using it for remix work and it's my 1st MPC - SUPER fast flow. Loving it.

I just got the live 3 about 2 or 3 months ago. Really loving the mix workflow so much, it’s helped bring the fun back in music making for me. Going to pick one of these up in the future for sure
